I would have thought that Bulls fans would be lobbying for Love? Seems like he would fit in really well there.

We have to give up way to much for Kevin Love. He's not worth what the T-Wolves wanted

He's the best 4 in the game at 25, they should want a lot for him.

Yea but he will be a UFA next year, why give up the house for something you can get for "free" next year.

I think we do... unfortunately. I lived in Denver the entire time he was there and watched him in person dozens of times. He is soft.. soft... soft... Not a Thibodeau brand of player.

If we get him though... I hope he proves me wrong.

I'm a Knick fan and have been watching him his entire Knick career and he's been a stud. His supporting cast is/was a mess. JR, Felton, an injured A'mare and Tyson. With the Calderon trade and possibility of bringing in Pau, from what I've been reading, he's closer to returning then he is to leaving.

Melo in New York has been amazing. Him playing the 4 is actually very underrated but he's not taken care of his body too well over the years.

With the big 3 opting out, I bet they're clearing room for melo in miami.

Hello Mr. Penn, Tim Duncan is on line 4, he'd like to have a word w you.

Overall body of work and better career? Of course. Better player right now? I don't think so, Love is.

I dont see any way they can possibly have enough room if the reports of LBJ wanting the max are even close to true.

I give a slight edge to Love because he can hit the deep ball which provides such a difficult dynamic to guard against.

Actually I don't want it to happen, even though I am a huge Dwayne Wade fan. I want Melo baby. No Kevin Love

And LeBron should want and should get paid a max deal. The guy has been the best player in the league for what...4-5 years? He has NEVER been the highest paid player on any team during his career. I understand he has endorsement deals and obviously isnt hurting for money and his smart with his money, but he does need to be recognized by the Heat or whoever.

As a LeBron fan, Id love to see him return to Cleveland and Cleveland throw the house to get Love. Irving, Wiggins would be a exciting team to watch, and take all pressure off Wiggins. Will that happen? Most likely not with all 3 guys opting out in Miami. Wade and Bosh are savvy business guys, and they understand the importance of keeping LeBron in Miami, bc their title aspirations go down instantly if LeBron moves on. Lets face it, Jordan, Bird, Magic didnt switch teams, but in today's age free agency is 100% diff than it was during their careers. Melo has moved (with different goals than LeBron), Durant will move, Love moves, Shaq moves, KG moved to Boston...Its just a new aspect of the NBA. Sure, if he stayed in Cleveland it would have meant more to Cleveland than Miami, but the Heat played in 4 straight title series and Cleveland couldnt do that if he stayed.

And next year's FA class...wow.

The problem with Cleveland is...Kyrie. He has problems with Dion and honestly gets too much love. He's still very good and he would be even better if Lebron went back (assuming that Kyrie would listen), but Cleveland would be a bit away from contending even if Lebron went back.

Kevin Love /= defensive stopper

Funny enough, now that you brought this up, I can't think of any elite 4s who are plus defenders.

With Lebron, Wade and Bosh opting out of their contract, this is going to be a big free-agent class that will alter NBA landscapes should some of them decide to switch teams.

Thought it was interesting to read about the Suns making a push for both Lebron and Carmelo. They already have a young team with tons of future draft picks. They are certainly positioning themselves well.http://http://sports.yahoo.com/news/suns-to-pursue-lebron-james--carmelo-anthony-with-offer-for-them-to-play-together-163546302.html

LeBron should go to Cleveland and drag Wade/Bosh with him. They owe him.

Just heard the Cavs are offering Kyrie the max extension of 90 million and he is going to sign it.

I don't know why he wouldn't. Man, that could be a mess for years is he can't take the next step/Dion Waiters stays.
