Hmmmmmm the only way i see this happening is if

Sac gets Rondo
Boston gets #1
Cleveland get Cousins, #6, and #8

This could explain the late meeting with Exum.

Interesting. Not sure what I want the Celts to do. Part of me wants them to just rebuild slowly with the 11 1st rounders they have over the next 5 years, and slowly build up a strong team over the next 4-5 years. Another part of me wants them to trade picks for Love.

Napier to lure Lebron? Thats beyond desperate.

I think if Wade doesn't stay in Miami, he ends up in Chicago.

Dallas making moves that opens up cap space after this next season. I think they are setting up a run at KD

Asik will be happy, he wanted out this last season

I have a hard time believing Celts would get rid of Rondo and the #6 for the #1 but I could very easily be wrong. Ainge just values Rondo so much.

Any chance its Celts get #1
Sac gets Rondo
Cleveland gets #8 and Cousins.

I think Boston gets screwed with your prediction but Cleveland does in mine haha. Who knows.

Maybe Celtics give up 6 and get 8 back? Celtics would presumably trade 1 for Love. Ik it's unrealistic I'm just throwing some shit around lol.

I agree but he's on record about playing with Napier for whatever reason. The issue Wade has is if he opts out, what kinda money does he get? He has his rings so money would be next.

LBJ is all about chasing rings so I wouldn't be surprised to see him stay or go. Not sure the type of flexibility the Heat have. Smart money would be to bounce to a team out West (GSW, Houston).

The only reason I say Chicago for Wade is IIRC he lives in Chicago and his kids go to school there. He's getting worn from all the deep playoff runs.

Lebron is in a tough spot right now. Go west where there are more teams that have a better supporting cast , and deal with a lot tougher schedule getting to the playoffs, as well as a much tougher road once in the playoffs to get to the finals. Which with the competition in the west may not happen. Or stay east and most likely be forced to carry your team like this year and your years in Cle, and hope you have enough left to show up in the finals. He's also said he wants his kids to attend the same high school in Akron he did. I believe his oldest is 9. That gives him up to 5 years to play somewhere else before he returns home. If he stays in Miami, I don't know who they get for help. Wade needs to be move to the 6th man role. And the last few years, Bosh is similar to Carmelo. Mostly 1 on , little D, and settling for mostly outside shots.

Chicago wouldn't pay Wade too much. They don't need two guards with knee issues. There's a chance Rose is still an excellent player after his injuries, but Wade took about a quarter of last season off and still played bad in the Finals. He had some great games, but I think elite Wade may be gone forever.

I wouldn't pay Wade a bag of toenail clippings for his services. Guy is a scumbag, and doesn't deserve a homecoming.

Lot of noise right now but minor developments thus far:
- Magic have Afflalo to the Nuggets for Fournier and the 56th pick (2nd rd)
- Don't think the 76ers will trade up at this stage but curious who they select now that Embiid is injured.

Side note: Aldridge offered 5 year max. Weird how things work out in life. I remember Aldridge being regarded as a good piece young player with the potential to be a third star to play along side Oden and Roy a few years back. He's the only one still with the Blazers and with a max contract.

Its pretty amazing how crappy some of the break have gone for the Blazers and how poor the Oden decision turned out to be yet they are still a quality team. Roy was set for star potentially superstar status until his knees gave out. I've become a rather large Blazers fan since my time in Portland and really like watching this team play. They really need a second big man that can spell Lopez. When he's out it gets really soft in the middle and Meyers Leonard has been a bust.

It's just really sad because Oden was the consensus guy. It was just stuff that happwbed afterwards. And it was pretty clear to me that Leonard was going to be a bust. What a waste of freaking talent. I may not be enamored with the Illini like many of my friends but I still catch some of their games and man he was just lazy and overall not committed to the team or getting better.

Agreed. It's funny listening to some fans who say it was obvious that we shoul've taken Durant. It's even better than it happened when they took Sam Bowie as well, haha. I was at bar and yelled at the TV when they drafted Leonard and basically the whole bar yelled at me because they thought he was the second coming

I would think their expectations have been tempered after touching a hot stove so many times.

Leonard did very well when he tried at Illinois, but those showings were few and far between.

Assuming but heard that it'll probably be the next step.
