Edge of Tomorrow was awesome. Best movie I've seen in theaters since Lone Survivor.
Emily Blunt was smoking in it too so that was a bonus.
Finally saw Jack Ryan: Shadow recruit last night. Pretty good pocorn flick. Don't think it made enough $ that they have set up a sequel, but I wish they would.
Cigarettes or cigars? Or is she more of a pipe person?
Escape Plan
Turn off your brain and it's kinda fun.
Don't know why, but always enjoyed a majority of Stallone action flix
Dr. Zhivago
A Brief Encounter
Bridge on the River Kwai
(reps to whoever gets the reference without Google)
I thought this movie would've been better without Sly and Ahnuld. Don't get me wrong, I like them, but this wasn't the movie for them to team up on. It should've been a no-holds barred action slugfest for those two, like another "Expendables." I think you could've plugged some combination of: Bruce Willis, Denzel Washington, Samuel L. Jackson, John Travolta, Hugh Jackman, or Kurt Russell and gotten a better movie. Tighter direction and a more urgent pace would've helped, too.
Nobody saw Jersey Boys? Just me? Oh alright.
I dunno. The back story might well be fascinating and I've read glowing reviews of the stage productions and film, but ...
"Back in the day" I was told by a few that my Jerry Valle was on the button. I was, however, about eight and still a natural soprano at the time when Sherry got airplay.
I could never get past the absurdity of the lyric "walk like a man, talk like a man" sung in a strained falsetto.
As for me, I now restrict my out-loud singing to Tom Waits songs since the old chords are showing age and abuse. The abuse was screeching like a banshee at ND games.
Edge of Tomorrow was sick for those who haven't seen it yet.
I saw Edge of Tomorrow about 2 weeks ago and it was SICK!!! Emily Blunt by herself is worth watching it for the hotness. By far, it was the biggest surprise of the summer so far.
Agreed, went into it not expecting much and was blown away. And yes Emily Blunt was amazing in it
seen pretty much everything this summer. have yet to see: Edge of tomorrow, How to train your dragon 2, and maleficant.
Seeing Transformers 4 this week. Want to see Obvious Child. Will wait to rent Think like a man 2.
Really loved chef.
Jersey Boys the play is way better. But the guy playing "Frankie Valli" may just be better than Frankie Valli himself!
22 jumpstreet was funny. made fun of itself, which i liked.
That guy is definitely not better than Frankie Valli, but it was still a decent movie. Edge of Tomorrow I really liked actually.
