So I'm pretty new to the NHL and just hockey in general. Going to Notre Dame hockey games actually got me interested in the NHL and Blackhawks. So I have a question for you Blackhawks fans and the for those of you that follow the NHL pretty closely. I see that the Blackhawks play the winner of the Avalanche vs. Wild series; who would give the Blackhawks the most trouble out of those two teams?

The Avs for sure would be more trouble not to mention they would have home ice.

That being said I want the Avalanche. Sure the Avalanche won 4 of 5 during the regulars but sometimes it is better to take a bulley head on rather than attempting to avoid them (Unrelated: I used to have my issues with bullies growing up lol but I was always one to punch back rather than run win or lose for better or worse eventually they left me alone).

I'm rooting for the Avs so hopefully the Blackhawks can show them the post season is a different game. I may regret it but so be it.

The refs didn't make the Sharts fail on an almost 2 minute 5 on 3 in the second. The other three goals were pretty solid as well.

Not saying the kings didn't deserved to win, but it did changed the emotions of the game. Hockey is often a sport of emotions. Momentum is huge. Anyways, I'm excited for game 7.

Personally for me the satisfaction of Chicago's success is enough. Steelhead is a hard ass though so I leave the decision on the avatar pic up to him.

This might be a tied series going into a deciding game seven but man
this is a pretty boring series overall. No real animosity,brawls etc...
I remember the real Rangers/Flyers games of the past that were brutal.
The new NHL sucks. I hate Bettman so bad...the guy has gutted our sport!

Yeah I'm with you. Has been probably the worst series besides MTL/Tampa and maybe Red Wings/Bruins.

I don't agree that the "new" NHL sucks, it is just more oriented to the national audience. Unfortunately the national audience would rather see a 7-6 game ending in a shootout rather than a 1-0 game with 2 line brawls.

Though it pains me to say it,Congrats Rangers.
What a boring series overall,wow. Would have enjoyed
another Pens series,oh well.... We have some work to do
in the off season especially regarding our D and we need to
get G a real winger somehow.

Yeah,Vinny doesn't have a place here with the center logjam we have.
G/B.Schenn/Coots/Laughton is what I'd work with next year if the roster
doesn't change much. I have a feeling B.Schenn may be dealt soon though.
The whole D needs to be revamped. People like Coby but I can't stand that
pile of crap,he can go too. I wouldn't even try to resign Kimmo,goodbye thanks
for you're service,good luck back home in Finland.

Yeah they need to gut the D and get a legit 2nd line center behind G. and i'm not sure Schenn is the answer I think Hartnell has a place on this team but it is as a 2nd line LW. I also want the Zac Rinaldo experiment to end.
