There was no greater joy for me than bringing my son home from the hospital and putting him 6-inches in front of the TV screen for his first ND game (which happened to be the day we brought him home). I have no doubt NDinLA and NDinSB (your infant son's new name to me) will enjoy their Saturdays together this fall. Congrats!
My youngest son is a darned ND talisman! He was born during the Superbowl, the last time the Bus ran the ball, at Pittsburg. If he took an interest in a ND game, (as an infant or toddler) ND would win, no matter the odds. If he was petulant, not good!
He shook Manti's hand before his senior season, he shook ZMartin's hand, CRobinson's. He shook BKelly's hand and made faces at him. (My two youngest and Brian Kelly had a face making battle.)
Be carful what you wish for man! He has to watch; he has to be in a good mood . . . .
Just kidding. Have fun! That is what remains, after everything is gone. We had a party for my #4 (granddaughter) last Saturday, and my three sons, (33, 31, and 8) and I were idiots. Real goof balls! It only gets better if you keep your eyes on what is important!
