I kind of agree here. Without her fame and exposure, Alex isn't recognized on the runway or the red carpet. However, those are the locations that made Kate famous and made her stand out among the crowd...well, those places, and the beach probably.

Skylar is doing the smartest thing possible as a female athlete. She is self promoting. When is comes to being an athlete the highest paid contract is roughly 100k in the WNBA. That is for the best player in the WNBA. As of now, Skylar is not that player.

What she is, is beautiful, curvy, and has an awesome personality. So she needs to make money off of what counts, her looks. That is the only reason she got the Eastbay cover. Brittany Griner was the most dominate player coming out of college but as most will agree she was not the most desirable player, in the looks category. So therefore no deal with Eastbay.

Let's just hope Upton and Diggins get a deal with Playboy next.

Honestly I think Kate looks MUCH hotter in her videos than in her pics. They do make her look overweight (*as compared to SI models). She certainly isn't the slimmest of the SI models.

If anything she's too skinny... seriously this image of the super model is sick on many levels imo... I'll take the brick houses or the just pleasantly plumb enoughs over the stick figure super model types with no curves other than their protruding collar bones any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
