So Mike was wrong on the reason ND is fading, not that they are fading. Onto the next TE prospect.

TJ addressed this on II. Clark's academics are nowhere close to where they need to be for admission to ND. It's up to the kid to make it happen but until then the staff can't push very hard for him.

I think it's pretty clear that the kid has made his decision seeing as ND isn't even in his top-10. GL at OSU.

Wow, haven't seen this story in 2 months.

Also, Sampson said that his mother is pushing ND very hard, so much so that it might be having the opposite effect here. Good news is we'll know where this is heading when his visit is over.

Man, this was some clownish recruitment. Not sure if I've ever been this far off on assumptions, etc.

The more I hear about this kid, the more I'm ok with him not coming to ND.

He'll of a pickup for UNC. IDK if they'll hang on to him. Hope he visits us but I wouldn't expect him to so quickly after a commitment.

Totally agree. Screams getting shown some film of Ebron and being pressured into a commit. Urban does not give up easy.

That's exactly what I thought. They showed him some film and he was like that's what I want and committed. Also, part of me really thinks that the stacked TE group we have may have turned him off. I have no info on this but this recruitment has seemed a little shallow and that is a trait in these types of recruitment.

I give it 3 months until he is committed somewhere else. Then I give that commitment 4 months. I think his final "verbal commitment" count total will be 3 schools.

Let's see, he's going to have to do some work to get into ND. UNC already has a reputation of players not having to attend class, classwork done for them, etc..

I'd say he found the perfect place!
