Awesome.... I may have to go pick it up tonight.
I freaking hate FF games... In all of pop culture FF games are at the top of my "Just don't understand the popularity of..." list...
Such treachery… Ulfric Storm cloak is nothing but a war mongering murderer hell bent of twisting the simple hearts of Nords for his own personal gain. Go ahead and trade “tail tucking bastards” for regions away for a power hungry, insane, War Lord in your own backyard… just don’t come crying to us Imperials when your livestock is burnt and family lies dead in the streets!!
You married?? Talk it over with the wife first... let her know you'll see her in October...
FF is a "true" RPG game. Its the puriest form of an RPG. When i was growing up i used to enjoy that style of game but i cant anymore. I think i liked the strategy aspect of it. But now its just too boring and slow. Probably has something to do with the fact i dont have unlimited time to sit an waste playing video games anymore lol. I used to love Star Wars: KOTOR and KOTOR II.

Dragon Warrior was cool in 1988... but why continue to make games like that???

Nostalgia....??? The amount of games made in RPG genre has decreased though...
I have...upsetting memories of that game. I remember when I first tried playing it I got blasted by slimes and ghosts. I had no idea what to purchase, and what little coin I did have got cut in half each time I died, compounding my problems. I got so fed up with it that I tried hiding the game behind the TV in the hopes that I would forget it existed. I eventually found the game later and gave it a second shot on a fresh file save. That ended up working out much better and I finally finished it before moving onto Final Fantasy. The Dragon Warrior/Quest games weren't all that great though, even for an early RPG.
Spoken like a true nord... smh.. Dragon Warrior is still one of the greatest RPGs ever made... just an amazing game.
Didn't you say you replay FF I earlier in this thread...??
I can't be the only one:
I used to love in Dragon Warrior, you find some fair maiden in some random city and she is standing against a wall... you walk up to her and keeping pressing the D pad in her direction and it makes this rhythmic "Bump, Bump, Bump.." sound...
I got me so much Dragon Warrior poon back in the day...
I had to think about this for a second, that's hilarious. I typically didn't hear that "Bump" sound over and over unless someone was blocking a door or a narrow passage way...and unfortunately that was often male NPCs.Last year while preparing to move, I cleaned out my Sega Gamegear/Nintendo Gameboy shoe box.
I dusted off the old Sonic games for Gamegear, and Pokemon Blue for gameboy. Then I started Fire Emblem for gameboy... talk about nostalgia.
I haven't got far into FFVIII but IX is my favorite so far. I've been looking at getting the re-releases on playstation of IV, V, and VI. VII was ruined for me when I went to a friend's house back on the day and he was playing where Aeris dies. My favorite RPG has to be The Legend of Dragoon.
I'm currently on AC3 and can't wait to be done with it. I thought about not finishing it after playing it for a couple days.
Speaking of old systems. I have a friend who had a Ninendo Virtual Boy. He sold it last year for $200.00...... it was mint. I told his dumb ass i would have gave him $300 for it if he would have told me he wanted to sell it. I have a feeling that thing is gonna be worth thousands in 20 years.
