If he ends up anywhere outside of Columbus I'll be shocked.

This picture shows Nick as a freshman, wearing number 91. As a sophomore, Nick wore his father's number 97. Will probably start his junior year at 6'4 260lbs, and growing. Fourteen sacks as a sophomore(school record), and a slew of quarterback hurries/pass knockdowns. His father, John, played for Boston College. Why wouldn't the family consider Notre Dame as a possible destination? Should Cody Riggs transfer, Notre Dame will have two Aquinas kids in the program.

ORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- It was just two years ago that current Ohio State star freshman Joey Bosa was a top national prospect coming out of St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale.

Now there is another budding star at the high school that produced three 2014 NFL draft picks, and the last name remains the same.

Class of 2016 defensive lineman Nick Bosa has been a standout the past two years for the Raiders, and like many who have come before him at the talent-rich school, he will be a national recruit with a quickly growing offer list.

“I think I’m at 13 offers now,” Bosa said. “Florida, Florida State, Miami (Fla.), Ohio State, Nebraska, Illinois and Bama are some of them.”

The 6-foot-3, 255-pound defensive end doesn’t have dates locked in yet, but he hopes to hit a number of campuses this summer.

“I’m going to visit Florida State," Bosa said. "Obviously, I’ll be taking a couple more visits to Ohio State to visit my brother. I want to see Florida and Bama. I visited [Miami], and liked what I saw there. I’ve been to Florida before with my brother, but I want to go back and see it now for myself.”

One thing is for certain in regard to Bosa’s recruitment: Most will have him pegged for Ohio State. But as far as Bosa is concerned, that's just speculation as he is still very early in the process.

“I don’t know, and nobody will know until I make my decision, which will probably be a year from now," he said. "I’m just trying to see my options because I’m lucky enough to have all these great options. I’ve just been able to see Ohio State a lot because my brother is there. I mean, I love it there, but that doesn’t mean I won’t love it somewhere else better.”

The comfort and relationship with defensive line coaches will play a big factor in Bosa’s recruitment.

“Sitting down with the D-line coach and seeing what and how he teachers, because obviously that is going to be big for me every day," Bosa said. "Obviously, the people around the programs, too. My brother has told me that the facilities are great everywhere, but it’s what you will learn and how you will be taught that is most important.”

Bosa was a Class 7A first-team all-state selection following the 2013 season.

His brother which I respect openly just said I don't like ND. His mom went to OSU, but I recall reading something "I know my brother isn't gonna be at OSU when I get there." So I think he is more open then his brother was.

Not only Nic Bosa, but also in attendance for the Virginia Tech game were Ohio State recruits Josh Sweat, Kevin Toliver, Damian Harris, and Mathew Burrell. While Notre Dame has a distinguished cheerleader in The Admiral, Ohio State has Lebron James working their sideline.

Lebron may be a better athlete, but Admiral was a much better and smarter basketball player. One of the best big men in NBA history.

Hard to believe that 2 5-star DE's from Catholic schools that we generally do well at recruiting at, are deep seeded in their hatred towards ND. Didn't even know Nick was that high of a recruit. I thought he was much lower.

This is just stupid. David Robinson was great. LeBron is better.

Dude it goes beyond who is better(which is Lebron), but LeBron is the biggest name in basketball and probably sports right now.. Sure it might be cool meeting Robinson for some but LeBron to 16-17 year kids is the man.

As someone around these recruits age I honestly barely had ever heard of David Robinson before we started recruiting his son. Comparing Lebron to him is just stupid.

Not really. Comparing them is very believable. I heard of Admiral WELL before Lebron, and I only started watching basketball in 2003 (about the year Lebron entered the league), and I was fully aware of the Admiral. Believe me, he is a much better player. He commands a lot more respect and has a better overall knowledge of the game. Lebron can take over games with his athleticism alone, but Admiral was just an absolute machine when it came to owning the paint.

We are talking about kids that are 16-17. David Robinson retired in 2003. You think these kids at ages 4-5 have any recollection at all of him playing? Speaking from the perspective of a 18 year old Lebron is so far ahead of David Robinson on the "people I want to meet scale" that it isn't even worth arguing. Kids my age have grown up with Lebron and Kobe. Shit I sadly barely remember watching Iverson as a philly fan.

This really isn't arhuable NDSean

Comparing a center to a forward/guard is beyond ignorant. Relative to their respective positions, however, no contest - Lebron is arguably best ever. Arguably. No one is arguing the same for Robinson. Lebron can be the best player at any one of four positions on the court ant given night. Quit the bullshit.

If you think the Admiral has anywhere near the star power as Lebron, you are smoking crack.

Well I didn't say that. I mentioned that Admiral was a better ball player, which honestly, you can make that argument. Am I saying he's the best ever? No. Did I say he has more star power? No.

I'm comparing their careers by their respective positions, so it's perfectly reasonable. Lebron is one of the best forwards to play the game, but Admiral is one of the best big men to play the game. Let's not forget that besides his gaudy stat line and achievements, he mentored another one of the games greatest big men, Tim Duncan.
