TIFWIW................Bleacher Report is reporting JuJu "high" on ND heading into NSD.
Maybe our chances are better than we think?

No.
He's all USC. I'll bet 1,000,000 vbucks to your 10.
I don't know how to do that, but sure. You may have to show me how to pay the bet, but let's hope I don't!

Per Scott Schader JuJu and Mama are both silents. But then he says JuJu might want to get away from home but his parents really want USC.
IMO if he wants to get away it will be to Oregon. He won't be coming to ND.
Is there any chance Mama goes to BYU?
No.

With that ratio, I'll gladly wager one thousand for a billion.
When did I say I was offering ratios? Lol.
I'll bet just ten for your million then if that's the most you'll do...chicken.
Sources say he's all USC.

No surprise, and so much for the academics (53% football graduation rate) and religion claims. As I said in another thread, if someone is seriously looking for a school with a strong religious presence, they don't sign with a program that is notorious for skirting the rules and has an extensive record of winding up on probation.
I disagree with your point about religion/academics, but I am too tired to explain in depth.
Simply, JuJu signing with USC is not indicative of false religious and academic desires.
I think it often depends on the character of the person.
If anything, I think this came down to proximity and family history.
Kid went to school in Long Beach.
Family loves USC. He grew up loving the school.
Sounds pretty simple to me.
I expect great things from this young man, and hopefully he will serve as a positive influence wherever he ends up.
Choosing a school just isn't always so black and white when it comes to religion/academics. There is plenty of grey area.
Full disclosure: I grew up an ND fan in LA during the 1970s and 1980s, so I absolutely loathe southern cal. So we can agree to disagree.![]()
I've got a good feeling about him.
