I read it as just "meeting with BVG, by itself" was almost enough to seal the deal, and the deal is sealed. Not that the deal was pretty much sealed. He went on in the same article with additional quotes to make it clear the deal was sealed and he would not even talk to (specifically) UofT or Charlie Strong again.

I thought about adding to the post the first time, but I wanted to make the point as to the huge affect BVG is having on this class. Which I think is even more important. Also, Denbrock up and LaFleur in as QB coach has people buzzing, too!

I asked Christian on ISD (who seemingly has a really good relationship with Kolin) if he thought the package deal would impact his recruitment, and he said he didn't think it would. He thinks each brother will do what's best for them and be happy for each other. He seems pretty sure that Kolin is excited about attending ND.
