Okay, the good think about this recruitment was an extra and nothing more. We got the one cb we wanted in this cycle. We have a lot of depth from last cycle. I really want him to come to challenge , but I feel comfortable with the depth at that position

Part of me hopes he comes to ND. IF, and it's a big IF, numbers get tight at 85, perhaps he becomes superfluous/expendable anyway?

Somebody sell me on this kid...in this cycle. (paging Lax, Emcee, IM8, Wooly, Lucky, NDinLA, etc).

Wiltfong posted that Cooks visited Alexander this week and, as of this morning, ND still likes where it stands for Alexander, regardless of the fact that he has been accepted to Stanford.

Per II Cooks visited Alexander at his school today, and will do another in-home with him tonight.

Wow, is it weird to do two in-homes in one week? Seems like Cooks is working overtime on this one.

Getting Alexander would be huge. Since the staff apparently considers him an option at KR/PR, it would lessen the need for IM or Quick to pick ND (not that I wouldn't still want them).

Yeah definitely shows how high the staff has TA on their board. Really, really hope we can get him.

We also need more playmakers in the secondary. I like Russell, Luke and Watkins for sure (Butler and Kinlaw could be great too for all I know), but we'll be going against some of the best passing attacks in the country the next few years, and we need to be able to set up a no-fly zone. It also buys some time for all the edge rushers we're bringing in to get back there and lay the wood on some QBs.

Any more in-home's and they might as well set up a futon in the basement.

Wiltfong is the most accurate predictor on the website unless you count the guys who have only made like 20 total predictions.

Hah basically no one has any idea what is going on. Ole Miss thinks they lead and Stanford is #2, ND thinks they lead. Should know more when BK makes his in home, but this one is up in the air.

Common thread seems to be Stanford. Stanford thinks they lead. ND thinks they lead, Stanford #2. Ole Miss thinks they lead, Stanford #2. To me that indicates Stanford... or misinformation. Will be interesting to see how this one plays out.

oh well....t minus 9 days til we can put this class to rest and start complaining about how ann arbor has more 2015 commits than we do, which seems to always be the case in february and march

'14 LA CB Terrence Alexander (Offer)

'14 LA CB Terrence Alexander (Offer)

Steve is hearing lots of conflicting things. Post visit, Ole Miss thinks they lead because distance is a factor, and Stanford is two. Steve has also Heard from other sources that the academic schools are in front and that ND likes where it stands. So who knows.

Edit: wow, soundly beaten to this post

A lot of sec schools seem to discount nd though. They prob think they're a no brainier if he really wants academics go top academic school.

Only thing we can get out of there is that no one knows what is going on. Nice, I like suspense.

Have you learned nothing? This class will not be "put to rest" in 9 days lol, something will come up after NSD because Notre Dame.

Also, at the rate '15 recruits are decommitting from scUM, they may end up with negative numbers in their '15 class.

good point on our front, but ann arbor always starts out on fire with their jr days and many on here start to panic and say the staff's not doing enough to secure early commits and momentum into the season.

also they look like they may pickup a high profile QB soon following the OC up north.
