1. Florida State--easily
2. Stanford--hogan more seasoned, but def is going to drop off
TIE W/ USC--they got weapons on weapons and now got some better leadership(they will be dangerous)
4. Michigan--only because we can never really play a good game for 4 quarters against them
5. asu--depends on what asu team shows up
6. north carolina----they got athletes all over and even though win wise they weren't great they were inexperienced
7. syracuse(true dual threat qb)--hopefully new dc can help us w/ this
8. louisville--never sold on them as a team even w. teddy...they beat uf and how many more years will we hear about that
9. purdont--again for whatever reason they seem to give us their all and is tough
10. northwestern--completed smoke and mirrors this year and eventually showed, i think they lost 6 straight??
11. navy--got a decent qb but we can't be any worse against the triple option than we have? can we??
12. rice---i thought they were decent this year until i watched them....nope

Colter graduated, and Siemian, the most likely to be the starting QB, is more of a pocket passer.

Plus, NU has a tendency to fade down the stretch since they lack depth (though this has obviously improved under Fitzgerald). We play them in November.

Having a bye and Syracuse before the Stanford game allows the defense to make any necessary adjustments. USC will be firing on all cylinders by November 29.

I absolutely expect Alviti to get playing time, but Siemian has tons of experience and will likely receive the majority of the snaps.

Like I added later to my original post, I think the biggest factor is that we play this game in November.
