Chip Kelly situation? Rule breaking in college leading to success, success leading to NFL job. Some sort of sanctions on him eventually from NCAA, but he doesn't care because he's in the NFL.

This has been in the works for a while according to Bama fans

He visited UCLA one month ago with his best friend (Najee Toran) and he loved it. They will enroll next week (EE). This is not dirty, just a Redfield situation. A great recruiting effort. Mora, unfortunately, is a heck of a coach. Don't be surprised if Raekwon flips to Alabama any day..

Mora will be dead before the NCAA investigates and when they finally get around to it they'll screw it up like they did Miami.

The NCAA is so dumb, they've prolly been investigating Mora for years...Mora Sr! Only explanation why this guy continues to get away whatever dafuq he's doing over there in LA.

I don't know a damn thing about this particular situation, and I probably shouldn't have said what I said without actually knowing something.

In general though, he gives zero shits for the rules and is about as shady of a HC as it gets. For an LA comparison, he's worse than Kiffin, and stories from guys who were recruited by UCLA in the last class are ridiculous.

Nothing wrong with Mora offering the best friend in order to get Whitley. Happens a lot more than we probably think. Still don't care for Mora, but he isn't doing anything here most coaches don't.

Yeah. Was Mora's role in all that ever really defined though? I don't really remember all the back story other than EV had a "medical" condition or something and somehow got the NCAA to buy in to his excuse to get out of his NLOI. Still, I was pissed he got the waiver.

i guess his role was never really "defined" but a lot of ppl on here believe he had quite a bit to do with it.

Oh... I am sure he was working the whole thing in the background. No doubt.

He's the head coach of a program that we know engaged in some shady stuff to get a top 10 recruit to flip. It's simply not possible he wasn't at the least rubber stamping those decisions.

Mora's dirty. The only question is how much so.

T,J at II had some extremely harsh things to say about the UCLA staff last year and I respect his opinion more than almost anybody. He is clearly part of the staff, IMO or somebody insanely close too. It wasn't just the EV situation that he commented on. Long story short this wasn't a one time thing it was a trend. Coaches that are dirty aren't dirty just once, to believe that is a little naive. Lastly, in Zach's rivals interview he said that Roscoe's chicken and waffles was the #1 reason he loved his visit so much, haha.
