Where do I begin. Well, I'll start by grading each unit:
QB - F: Rees is throwing for decent yards and is 15/29. Pretty average numbers, but remember that he is throwing against one of the WORST pass defenses in college football. Rees has been straight up sh*t in his final game. Typical.
RB - C-: Folston had a good start, but he's struggling and that injury he suffered probably has a lot to do with it. McDaniel has been getting yards when it matters, but no chunk plays.
TE - C+: Koyack and Niklas have gotten two important receptions, but the blocking has been less than impressive. Definitely not the reason ND is tied right now, but still no impressed.
WR - C: TJ has been consistent and has the only TD, but Daniels...My God man, CATCH THE F*CKING BALL! Prosise has been active, but this unit can't get much going because of Rees' horrible passing.
OL - D: This has to be the worst game I've seen from this unit in a while so far. Yes, this is a good rush defense, yes ND is missing 3 starters inside, but still. The talent gap is enormous, but that's not turning into gaps for the RB's to run through.
DL - D-: That's generous. Absolutely NO pass rush whatsoever, and when they do get to the QB, they whiff on contact and he runs for 15+ yards. Horrible.
LB - D-: Equally as bad. You don't let a QB who runs as methodically as Dodd loose and not tackle him. Horrible tackling from this unit so far, outside of Jaylon.
DB - KeiVarae Russell gets an A++++++. Honestly looks like the only player that wants to be there. Everyone else gets a C, and Jackson gets an F------. While Russell has been terrific in coverage, Jackson has been flat out horrendous.
ST - F: Brindza is 2/3, but both makes were chipshots. Jones muffed an easy return. You can NOT do that.
