Hey Doods. Where has this frickin' year gone?

Anyways. I have bought one present…. one!… and that is a t-shirt for the ol' lady. I'm guessing that the shirt will not suffice as complete Christmas offering.

Since most of us are dudes (sorry quinntastic)… and traditionally terrible shoppers... I figured that a thread about interesting gifts that you are giving this year would be a good idea. So open up and tell me all of your unique, thoughtful and caring gift ideas… that way I can shamelessly steal them and present them as my own.

Thank you in advance.

Here is my offering… I bought this for my dad last year. Sounds silly, but an awesome gift for the gardener-cook-person-person with cool yard.

Wooly I thought this thread was going to announce the ObamaShop website based on the title.

I did custom etched glasses for everyone last year...beer mugs and bourbon glasses and stuff like that. Those went over really well.

Those are yours, dude.

Mine are sugary, cinnamony, and vanilla(ey).
(Those are what they are cooked with).

Mine are roasted on an open fire.

What have you dudes bought for your wife specifically?

For the wife, Toms or sperrys are usually a hit. Also concert or Cardinals tickets are usually my go to thing.

I do have a good one though. Order or go somewhere and buy a decent wallet/checkbook thing. Like coach or something of this nature. Then fill it with 10-50 dollar gift cards to places she goes on a regular basis. Maybe it was just my wife but she loved it.
Wallet 200.00
gift cards 300.00
Awesome gift for 500.00 you can get done in a day before noon.

Worked good for me. Hope your wife likes it as much as mine did. If I would have had it to do over I would have dropped another hundred and put some cardinals tickets in there to.

Maybe some Sabres tickets, Wooly?

I think they give those things away in the Sunday paper. Ha

I wish I had some venison though. For no other reason other than being able to answer the "what did you get your wife for Christmas?" question with.... " oh... I slipped her a long sleeve of sausage. Threw it right in her stocking. Spicy sausage."

My mom and I went out Black Friday shopping this year we were at the sports stores this year getting my brother all this Notre Dame gear when the owner told us the real Notre Dame football helmet was 40% off! So we got it for him. It's so awesome that I want it myself!

Excellent thread idea Wooly. I'm not creative at all and I'm in the market for ideas for my girlfriend/family. The wallet idea is pretty awesome.

C'mon fellas, help me not use my brain/creativity!

Can I borrow $20?

She lost the ring like 5 years ago. I've been meaning to replace it I just finally have.
The car I got a really good deal on a Grand Cherokee and we needed a new car. Not my fault I could pass it off as a Christmas gift.

im buying disposable cameras (yea i was as shocked as you are now) and a family picture frame for my sisters/mom/aunts, with two conditions: One picture has to be of their immediate family, One picture has to be of their extended family... in 10,15,20 years -- your kids, or grand kids are not going to facebook you and cherish the pictures, so might be a good time to have the hard copy

$100 worth of film, apx $70 for frames, covers 6 people

Tell your spouse to write a list... then give them the credit card.
