He will be in attendance tonight in Palo Alto
Is Schultz a LDS?
"His blocking is what makes him the No. 1 recruit," he said. "The tight end position in football nowadays is kind of a lost art. We are ruthless about doing our part."
So if Luatua is strictly a TE, and we have Weishar and still pursuing Schultz then we are clearly emulating the Stanford model where every position on the field is occupied by a TE.

This could be a sick pull if it actually happens. Not only stealing him from Stanford, but landing two dominant TE prospects. I truly believe Schultz is the unequivocal #1 guy in this class. Do we have room for everyone on the train? That's my only question.

I didn't know he was on campus.
I've been selling stock on Luatua simply because poor camp showing + drop in ratings = overrated to begin with IMO. But then I watched the game film of both Luatua and Schultz, and I thought Luatua's film was really good. He reminded me of Funchess but a better blocker. Runs hard and very tough to take down after the catch IMO.
Schultz's film is limited, but one thing I noticed is it looks like he has really short arms for his size. Did you notice that? That concerned me.
Anyways, what the hell is going on here then? Is Schultz the staff's #1? Is that why Luatua has been told to hold off or is he actually doing it on his own?
Makes ZERO sense to take Luatua and Schultz (ironman recently reported that Luatua is being recruited as a TE only).[/QUOTE]
Take them both, figure it out later is what I think. Luatua is versatile from what I've read.

Did you read the part where he's being recruited as a TE only? That means to me that he's not moving positions, and Schultz certainly isn't. Add that to two TEs from last year plus Weishar. Adding two more in this class wouldn't be smart.
I wonder if Luatua holding out is because the staff has told him he's their #2, wait to see what Schultz says on his visit? IDK. It's possible.

Who cares is what I'm saying. Sign him up, figure it out later. Troy Niklas.
You're second statement is valid. I hope not, but very possible I think.
Fuck NTs and MLBs we need more TEs!!!
