Sherman's defense is laughably bad

So is Grant's. I said this last year, on the ball, Grant is great. If we're in Zone or he's defending off the ball, he's lazy.

Sherman works so hard on offense, and then is an absolute statue on defense.

Oh well, actually a good game, thought we got jobbed a few times, but you'll have that away from home (and a big game for the other team).

I originally thought it was the Center position that was going to hose us this year. We'll be "ok" there, it's the 4 that's killing us.

That, and I think Iowa is literally a match-up nightmare for us. They have size across the board. Our one line-up that could compete at this point just isn't there physically.

Pat C is a freak athlete, but so was White for Iowa, and White had what seemed like 4-5 inches on him. To ask Pat to try to guard him is just a mismatch (not to mention, we had guys like DJ guarding their 6-7 players).

We looked better tonight than some of the previous games. Sherman played well offensively, Pat had a nice game, and DJ will continue to improve. On the other side of things could have really used this win for a legit out of conference win and really need to beat IU now. We really need to improve defensively.

We match up fairly well with the Bucks because they don't have a lot of size. Amir Williams is their only bigger dude. They play really stingy defense but if we get into more of a shootout I like our chances. I'm assuming that's an L though which is why I think Indiana is a must win.

Pat Knight, play like that every time you're in the game. If Knight continues to get minutes and plays like he did the last 7 of the half, we'll improve at least a little bit.

b.) Has his mind made up you're going to the hole

ND started slow then built a double digit lead before going ice cold and letting Bryant back in it. Made it look respectable in last couple minutes. This team can still be good. Side note the crowd was embarrassing tonight. I know its Bryant but the arena should never be that empty.

I agree its always bad for non-conference except the very occasional game like UK last year. This looked worse to me though, perhaps because i was watching on an HD channel rather than being there myself or watching a crappy internet feed.
