I'm not watching tonight, but it was like that in the previous Kansas game. Lots of ticky tack. I think they might have to adjust back. This is pretty bad.

It isn't even basketball. Of all the idiotic things that the NCAA does on a seemingly daily basis, changing the rules so that everything is a foul could be the stupidest. Basketball is better when the players are allowed to play. Constant whistles retard the flow of the game.

Eventually players will learn to play without handchecking and grabbing and arm bars. This isn't as dumb as targeting where they're calling fouls on unavoidable plays and ejecting people on first offense.

All in all, it will help finesse teams (like Notre Dame?) a lot. It will absolutely destroy teams like Wisconsin.

VCU vs Virginia game was insane. VCU has always been an aggressive D/press/pressure team and they were calling fouls on everything... even when there was no contact at all. It needs to even out for sure.

But in the end, I think it will be good that you're not allowed to put your hands all over someone when they try to move without the ball or dribble up the court. Maybe I'm wrong on this though.

UK is young. In about 15 games, they'll be as good as anyone.

These two games are an epic way to start the season! Loving every second of it.

The hand check rule is ok in my book. There is no reason to rest your hand on the back of a offensive player with the ball. Positioning is key in basketball and this rule allows the game to be played the way it was meant to be. Will definitely take time to adjust as it has been the norm for far too long.

I look at it this way...KU was pretty sloppy and Wiggins only played 1/2 of the first half. Ellis did what I thought he would. That's pretty positive for KU. Now, Duke also will make free throws more than they have.
