Wait huh? He doesn't even have a Notre Dame offer.

May want to get him one. Seriously, that was the rumor going around T Town. If the other three decided to team up and go to one school then the prevailing thought was he would join them. He is good friends with Lautua and Mama.

Do we have room for hi and Mama?

I'd say no, we're maxing out the Oline if we bring in Mama I doubt we bring in somebody else. Viane is a stud and in most years I'd love to hear that but I assume the staff won't bump anybody out and we have other positions to fill.

I agree with that. Somehow I don't think the other three will end up at the same school either. Lautua to Notre Dame. Smith and Mama stay on the west coast if I were guessing.

I really like us for Luatua and JuJu with Mama probably staying on the west coast. Smith couldn't be saying more perfect things than what he is about religion, education, and tradition so until he picks somebody else I think he's Irish.

Smith has said all the right things making people think the Irish is where he ends up. Whoever gets him will be getting a good one for sure.

And to keep the vowel theory going... it has been rumored that if the three commit to the same school them current Bama commit Viane Talamaivao will join them.

Very true Tommy, but that school would be USC, not ND. Talamaiva's recruitment has been weird to say the very least. On the very night he was rumored to be a silent commitment to USC, he up and committed to Bama, sight unseen. With respect to the kid, I'll just say that there are some weird whispers about him and how his recruitment will play out, and that his commitment to Bama isn't the strongest one in the world.

Nothing will surprise me with his recruitment, unless he landed at ND lol. Now that would be a shock.

As for Smith, Mama, and Luatua playing together, let the shine of the ND trip wear off, and then let's talk guys. Mama's school might give SC up to 5 players this year...they are becoming a major pipeline for SC (rumors are that they they just picked up a commitment from a WR from Bosco last night). If they hire the right coach, Mama will be all SC in the end IMHO...

I think you're talking about 3 star Shay Fields, he's got a 85 rating on 247. Offered by SC on October 8th, decommitted from Boise just 2 days ago, and now his CB is 100% SC

Per BGI They believe Tyler will end up at ND. Also mentioned that Luatua and Mama's mother's are very close friends and could be important if/when Luatua commits to ND.

Did a video interview with rivals. Will look to make his decision after he gets back from his Bama visit. Around the middle of next month. Top 5 ND, Bama, Wisconsin, BYU, and Ole Miss.

From Mind of Mike, Farrell basically insinuates that Bama will put the full court press on Tyler this weekend while he is on campus for the LSU game, but barring something crazy, he along with most he talks to expect Tyler to announce for ND after the visit.

I really hate not having last visit. When Bama destroys LSU it'll also be pretty impressive.

Unrelated, but I think that last visit for Juju to USC in January with their new coach will also be a game changer.

I think Bama has moved on with Luatua. I haven't heard anything on him in a while. The LSU game and OV will have little affect on him. Good get for the Irish if he closes the deal next week.

Love when people confirm Farrell is full of hot air.

Farrell from Rivals = a less goofy but more egotistical J.C. Shurbertt from 24/7

While the atmosphere at those games is amazing, I think you're right since he has--presumably--already seen it and heard all about it from his brother.

I had a meeting with two Alabama graduates this week that were traveling to Tuscalusa for the game.

They said by Wednesday, the population will increase by 50,000. By Thursday, 100,000, and by Saturday 200,000- a quarter million, simply because of the LSU game.

I'm sure they were exaggerating, but people down there are crazy by football. It's literally maddening. They said outside of football, Alabama is the worst place in the world, lol.

Everyone has said he will pop shortly after this visit. The staff is apparently open to him playing either position.

They haven't been to Mississippi then. Outside of the Grove... they can have the whole dam* state.

As far as the population, there will be as many outside the stadium as inside. It is a great atmosphere but makes for a long day trying to defeat the traffic, congestion, etc. Since it is a night game, I would expect some extracurricular activity outside the stadium. The Bammer and Corndog fans don't like each other. LOL

Lynard Skynard would disagree with that statement.

There have been 200K on campus for an ND USC game before. More impressive IMO because so many travel from far away.

People who love South Bend, Indiana should not cast stones.

Lynard Skynard would disagree with that statement.

Amen.

It wouldn't be nearly as bad if they didn't allow those idiots to pull their single or double wides into the parking lots.

Mississippi makes Alabama look decent. That is easily the worst state in the country.
