Don't like that call to run the time off at the end of the half. We are a big play waiting to happen. 1 min. and 1 TO is plenty to at least make it interesting without taking too much risk.

I'd agree if Golson was the QB. You take no unnecessary risks with Tommy. He is a pick six waiting to happen, as has been shown over and over. I.E. Oklahoma, i.e. ASU. It's just the smart move.

Not a good comparison, IMO. Completely directly athletes at CB, S, and LB for Air Force. Clearly they are having trouble defending on the outside and down the field.

That was chicken Sh&t play calling by Kelly. Also ready to give up on Amir and GAIII. Should try Folston, Mahone what have they got to lose. d looks slow and weak. Rees playing very well but play calling lacks imagination and anything resembling creativity. If ND was going to get the ball back in the second half I am ok with taking a knee but we aren't. Kelly lacks anything resembling the killer instinct IMO and our D still plays soft bend and try not to break defense. This team is far from complete and has the running game of a Charlie Weiss team.......not good. Let the best players touch the ball. Run a few wildcats with TJ or even Amir. I wanted to put my feet up by now but Kelly might hVe one of those games a year in him.

I'm talking about Tommy not anyone else. He has shown a propensity to make one to two bad throws a game that end up pick six. That was one of those situations where a pick six kills your team, and not scoring doesn't really hurt you. I don't love the call but I think it's the safer of the two and have no problem with it.

The real issue is that if they went for it and scored I still wouldn't have loved the choice to put Tommy in that situation. Difference is most everyone here would have cheered going for it and if we had a turnover (especially a pick six) blamed it on Kelly, Tommy, Swarbrick, Longo, and Diaco for letting anyone do something so stupid. Instead of saying well I'd rather go for it and mess up then not. Most everyone here would have reneged so hard.
