yea that leaves Deeb, Schmidt, Moore, Randolph, Councell?, Martini, and maybe another 2014 recruit battling for 2 spots.

Why would Grace's future be un-clear. He broke a bone in his leg. It will heal and he'll be ready by March or April. Kevin Ware, the b-ball player at Louisville who had the break clear through his skin last April, is now back on the court 100% healthy and playing.

No way to know how it heals, how good of shape he is in, or how much strength he's able to maintain. Add all that together and it sounds un-clear. I don't think it was a knock on Grace just stating the obvious. After a major injury, his status is unclear.

exactly...look at tori hunter jr...he was on pace for a full recovery earlier on and then some hiccups in the road to recovery...look at gronk, infections and stuff happen

The thing ND needs to make him do is fall in love with ND. There have been multiple cases in the last few years where the parents have fallen for ND, and get the opportunities that ND provides, but the kid doesnt. The kid is forced into making a decision and no one is happy. He can like his visit and visit again and sign with ND to make his parents happy, but if he hates it, whats the point. Not saying ND isnt the place for him, or that they can't get into his recruitment, but from everything i have heard and as stated on here, his father loves ND and Nyles doesnt.

As jimmymac and others that go to school at ND....the kids and student athletes at ND are a fit or they arent. ND is a place where if you "dont get it" you arent going to be successful reguardless. Its got to be a 110% thing for things to work out well.

We didn't wait at all. We've been recruiting him for a long time. He just hasn't always reciprocated that and therefore communication has stalled at various times. Put it this way he's been a priority and he knows that. It's the only reason we have any chance at all.

On the list as an official visitor but as of late Tuesday afternoon it wasn't set in stone. Father high on ND and Nyles sees an opportunity to make an early impact. He needs to build a better relationship with the staff. Kelly spending his one and only visit to Nyles last week went over extremely well with the family. We should get a visit regardless of he makes it this weekend but this weekend would be ideal.

I know this kid is a HUGE need, but I fear his apathy towards ND could be a wet blanket on the day for some of these recruits. Hopefully we spark his interest early and he pulls a 180 in regards to his interest (vs just his parents' perceived interest).

this is HUGE!!! he was originally coming on an unofficial...now he will get the red carpet treatment...not saying the staff wasn't going to put best foot forward but when ur being served up delicious food etc it tends to make things even better
