I will make a prediction that when GB finally gets meaningful reps there will be a collective "what the hello were we waiting for"? Somewhere in his past he was used to run out the clock and protect a lead like Cam does. I don't get it...believe me I'm reading all of your posts trying to understand. Love Cam but he's scares nobody with his power, his cuts, or his speed.

I actually really like Cam. I'm unimpressed with GA/Amir. I'll take a tough, 'churner' that makes quick cuts over a guy with straight line speed at the RB.

My depth chart would be: 1A) Cam 1B) Folston 3-5) Everybody else.

Folston has impressed every play he's been in on. He's so much more natural than GAIII and stronger than Amir that it's going to be fun to watch when he's let loose.

I'm done with this. Whatever happened is out of out control. I think BK has been slow to trust and integrate the freshman RBs, you guys don't. Whatever. No sense in arguing.

Hopefully this entices Hood/BO. UNC is about to go 1-5/6 (can't remember). Say whatever you want that 'he didn't commit to UNC for football reasons', but that's bogus. When you're that good, football does matter, even if you changed your commitment to be closer to home. It's not pure black and white, there are a lot of factors that go into selecting a school and winning is definitely one of them. He loved ND at one point, and at that point he probably didn't expect UNC to suck ***. Losing big never helps recruiting. That would be great redemption.

Can we start some **** USC?

**** USC.

RKG=Right Kinda Guy. It's a phrase Kelly used in some of his earlier press conferences when he was hired.

You all need to just join NDNation and post there. I am sick of the negative attitude. I am sure that you all thought we were going to get our *** kicked by ASU well guess what we didn't. Cheer for ND not be negative otherwise go pick another school Purdue might be a good option plenty of things for you to cheer about there

End of rant

This isn't just about Greg, either. Why didn't Folston see the field last week? I love Cam, but I'd argue Folston is more complete and has been dynamite in the ~10 touches he's had. Did not see the field against ASU, even though he was coming off of a solid performance in a meaningful game.

So you think GB is not getting enough touches and that is why he's transferring. But you think Folston is the most complete back we have. But you think Cam should be the number one back. But you think GB should be mixed in the #3-5 backs. Ok.

Probably not. We beat them. Why would rooting for a team worse than this one fix the issue.

This is getting so old.

'Cheer for BK/ND/Swarbrick and never question a move they make. If you do, go to NDNation'. Is this Nazi Germany?

We're not even being negative. We have opinions. I think BK has been slow to trust the freshman RBs this year and I think they could help us this year and definitely in the future. There's nothing wrong with that opinion.

If ou can't handle differing opinions, I'd suggest not posting here, nd nation, or anywhere else.

It's the classic five back system. I believe the Patriots had four guys with thirty touches each last week. And three of them were rookies.

No one will ever know for sure, but that's seems most likely.

Yes. Him and Cam are close, but Folston is quicker.

1A. As Folston collects more of the play book, I'd have no problem with him and Cam splitting even reps.

Yeah. What is confusing here? Lol.

He did see the field. I don't recall when, and he didn't have a carry, but he IS listed as having played, in the player participation report.

Gotcha. Three starish hard workers who keep their noses clean and bust their butts for the team. Non divas.

Well, they can be any talent level. It's really just the bolded, I think.

No one has came out and said that he is officially transferring, I am tired of our fan base getting all up in arms on some rumor. Let this play out he my transfer he may not. It could end up being someone just trying to get hits.

If he does not transfer I will donate you ten million vbucks. If he stays, nothing in return because this is not a bet.

That's what I thought when DeadSpin broke a story about a certain linebacker's fake dead girlfriend. This program no longer gets the benefit of my doubt when it comes to crappy rumors.

Yeah agreed. From all accounts Jaylon worked his *** off to know the playbook inside and out from the moment he got here, and he is the highest rated defensive recruit we have landed in a long time.

Why would BK play two freshman with consistent play?

-The runningbacks ahead of them aren't producing.
(GAIII has started playing better, Cam is Mr. Dependable)
- Injuries have given them the opportunity.
(Obviously this isn't it)
- They are Adrian Peterson (Or their skills are so great they have to be on the field).
(Obviously they are not)

So it comes down to experience and assignments. Why would you replace GAIII if you as a coach feel he is the best option to hit a homerun? Why would you replace Cam in pass protection or short yardage situations if you know he will get the job done?

No one player is bigger than the team. Feelings aren't an option anymore in college (unless you are a big fish in a small pond)

Lol it would make way more sense than Bryant, actually. (I only lol'ed because it would make all this message board hand-wringing unnecessary.)

I have always liked Will Mahone, but he's a guy who, unlike Bryant, has legitimate reason to wonder if he will ever see meaningful playing time. I mean, he's a RB who has basically been moved to WR so the freshmen in the class behind him can take RB reps. That would be legitimately demoralizing.

I could see that for sure. He is absolutely buried on the depth chart. We always talk about our "5" running backs (ga, ac, cm, tf, gb) when there are actually 6 ( Mahone)

The faceless men of Braavos worship the many faced good, not the Lord of Light.

I was referencing the line, "You stole 3 deaths from the Red God, we have to give them back." but also making a joke about neg repping.

So, don't even.

Wow, gone a few hours, what did I miss? Oh another 5-star loss, no big deal. He "should" be a stud and high pick based on projections. Kelly and Co. obviously can recruit, but don't know how to keep the top talent around. I'm numb to it, I don't even get mad when they lose anymore, unless it hurts my vbankaccount. At some point, it just isn't worth worrying about what you can't control. Gone or not, GB was my favorite recruit in this class. It's disappointing that missing out on these 5 star guys is keeping ND from taking it to the next level. Life goes on, I still have to work tomorrow.

If (if)he's ready to transfer six games into his freshman year then I think things weren't working on multiple levels and a couple dozen more garbage time plays weren't going to salvage the relationship.
