I'm surprised no one is talking about them. Did everyone black out and pass out already? haha

They're basically murdering Southern Cal right now. And as much as I love seeing Lane Kiffin get stomped....this offense is terrifying.

ASU is so much better than Michigan or Oklahoma. In fact, despite completely tanking the first half against Stanford they really made it competitive at the end before another bonehead play sealed the deal. Taylor Kelly is going all Taylor Kelly in the second half and it's terrifying.

ASU and Stanford are going to take near miracles to win. USC will be tough as well, but they're beatable. 8 wins seems realistic. 9 seems a stretch now.

I've never seen a QB/WR be so great at the back shoulder throw. That should be fun to watch next week.

Wow, 450 yards against us by OK---and ASU is more explosive and fast. We have to bring our big boy defense next week.

If not, this is going to be a very long season. Man, so many expectations and so many of them dashed already.

Just so depressing to watch this team right now. We all love them and will watch and support them. But, this is bordering on embarrassing.

Preseason there were people here arguing that ASU was a trap game for ND.

Now it might be a trap game for ASU. ND will be the dog.

After our performance today, I am getting some enjoyment out of watching Kiffin completely blow up USC. Calls a RB pass on 4th and 1, just when I thought he had hit the floor of stupidity and apparently I was wrong.

Marqise Lee hurt. Looks like a knee.

Best case scenario MCL sprain.

I am usually optimistic when it comes to the Irish...but I'm watching ASU destroy USC right now and I don't see any way that we beat this team. I don't even think we will be able to keep it close.

I hope I'm wrong.

i never thought i'd be so intimidated of ASU going into this week, but after hanging 60 + on what i thought was a decent USC defense...yikes

I'm going to this game and am sick to my stomach. It'll be a nice weekend hanging with friends, but I have a feeling Kelly is going to have a glaring mushroom bruise on his forward by the end of the first quarter.

"on his forward" ???

Is that more biped talk?

Edit: After reading your post again, I suspect you typed "forehead" and the misspellchecker fixed it for you.

I never really considered U$C to have a good defense, not sure why so many of you are respecting the U$C defense. However, I do think ASU should be the favorite to win next week, which is sad, I have not picked ND to lose in 18 straight games.

The countdown clock on the home screen under this game is incorrect. It says the game starts at 730, but the countdown is set for 330.

everyone on this board is going to have 3 A$$holes from that pitchfork.

Lol. Their strengths are our weaknesses. Speed in space and a QB that can throw fades. You best believe Todd Graham will throw everything at us. He's the PAC12 Brett Bielema.

We open as a 6.5 dog next week.

Not giving us enough points?

I will be surprised if we keep it within 2 TDs. The only saving grace is that ASU looked like they could be pushed around in the running game against both Stanford and USC. If we can run the ball and control clock *maybe* we have a chance.

Their O has a lot of speed though and a dynamic QB... that typically spells doom.

Agree. Only hope is what Wisconsin was able to do. If we can be physical at the line of scrimmage and play keep away, that perhaps gives us a chance. Those are big "If's".
