Rookie CB for the Lions thought "Lambeau" was for "Lamborghini." lol

Cornerback Darius Slay spent most of the first two decades of his life in the south. He grew up in Brunswick, Ga., and played at Mississippi State before the Lions selected him in the second round of this April's NFL Draft. The team has high expectations for Slay, who now plays in the NFC North and will have to face one of the league's best quarterbacks, the Packers' Aaron Rodgers, twice a season.
Obviously, Slay knows who Rodgers is but as recently as this summer he had no idea where the Packers played their home games. Watching tape of the Packers with fellow defensive backs sparked a conversation about the league's best stadiums, and led a puzzled Slay to ask this question.

“Lambo? Like the car?"

Not like the car. Like Lambeau Field named after the franchise's founder, Curly Lambeau.

“I knew what a Lambo was, but I didn't know it was Green Bay's stadium," Slay told MMQB.com's Robert Klemko. "They said, ‘Man, that's the stadium!' I said, ‘Oh man…' ”

The Lions' 67-year-old defensive coordinator Gunther Cunningham got a good laugh when he heard the news, but functional geography skills aside, he has been wholly impressed with Slay's knowledge of Xs and Os.

“If you talk to him about football, he was really well-coached,” Cunningham admitted. “This kid knew the game coming in. I kept quizzing him. He knew things that a lot of coaches don't know.”

And hey, it could be worse. At least Slay didn't call it "Lambert Field."

Gonna be a long year for Cutler. The line may be worse than it was last year somehow.

I know its preseason and it means nothing, but I just don't get the play calling. Its completely changed from the 1st quarter to the 2nd. I hate being a Lions fan.

Just realized Megatron took the night off (had no clue till they said it.) That explains it. Stafford had to throw to someone else and wasn't sure what to do.
