Since he can't be talking about Big Lou [since Lou always gets double-teamed], and since Sheldon Day has gotten a fair amount of praise, this subtle comment has to be a reflection on Tuitt and Shembo.

I would assume the WRs as MSU likes to put 8 in the box and play man to man on the outside with their DBs.

The coach is correct. We've got to be able to create pressure without blitzing, or else QBs will pick us apart all season. That's what we did last year. That's Tuitt and Shembo. Hope it starts tomorrow.

Tuitt is on track to get his degree this year right? In my opinion he is having an above average season, people look way to into sack totals. I have counted at least 15 plays in which he has forced the QB to either throw the ball away or throw a bad pass. With that being said if the kid is getting his degree and receives a first round grade then it would be incredibly dumb to not enter the draft, you cant blame the kid for being sucessful

I don't even see why it matters if he has his degree or not. It didn't stop Clausen from getting his Notre Dame degree after going pro early.

I agree. Even if he doesn't get it by the end of the semester, he'll be close enough to get it pretty easily.

Tuitt is probably not as close as Clausen was though. Clausen enrolled early, didn't he? That gets you 3 or 4 classes closer. Tuitt's only been there for 5 semesters and three summers. Not sure that's enough time. I would guess that he needs one more semester, but I won't claim to know for sure.

I think his mom is just setting things up for him not to get screwed. I though she made it really clear the there was no directive to go.

Funny people saying "he gone" when the article actually points out that Eifert/Manti did the same thing and then opted to come back.

With that being said, if he has a high enough draft grade and doesn't get hurt, I think almost everyone expects him to be gone.

I really don't think he is going to be gone. But we saw the first sign of life out of Jones this weekend, and continued improvement from Isaac Rochell.

Guess I figured most would get the sarcasm w/o the italics when I posted it. It seemed to be the phrase of choice for some time in alot of recruits threads and such. But that time has past.
