don't see why not, if I remember right he was looked at possibly early as a dt recruit by some schools

personally I think he'll be a very good interior o lineman for us

Not as impressive as I had hoped. He did ok, but needs some better technique. With the size if GC line, those Dlineman should have looked like they were on skates. The GC starting HB got hurt early. Was actually a fun game to watch.

Number 52 certainly looks good(weight room warrior) in a football uniform, but last night's performance at left tackle was a disappointment. Maryland's getting a good one in Jesse Aniebonam. And the Good Counsel halfback, Ekwoge(western Michigan), played well until a knee injury early in the second half. Two very good high school programs, but Good Counsel left the field disconsolate with their performance. There were too many blocking, holding penalties to negate big plays. And the Good Counsel quarterback fumble in the red zone, drops the ball at the feet of his halfback so he can kick the ball to the Gilman defense at the seven yard line. Last night's 20 to 14 game had a lot of college prospects on the field.

Can he play DT? I can't recall nor do I want to go through the entire thread...

Maybe, but we recruited him as an OG.

He is primarily an OL in high school; played limited snaps on defense.

He doesn't have the build to be a NT for us. He's a fairly lean 285, or at least was last time I checked. And he doesn't have the length to be a DE. So I think he's destined for offense.

OSU recruited him as a DT too but primarily on the offensive side of the ball.

He also said last summer:

I'm pretty sure I'll be playing on the offensive side of the ball at the next level. I'll be playing both ways this year, but I definitely prefer playing on offense in college and I feel it will be best for my future.

But i think that yes, he can play DT too.
