Outstanding. I don't know enough, but I hope this is a franchise that can use his kind of skill. He impresses me as the kind of guy that can always find a little more to give. Hopefully he can parlay that into a nice little career!

he would be a great subject for one of those "On the Fringes" segments nfl.com does where they follow guys trying to make the roster through TC. Robby speaks his mind and would be a good interview i reckon.

Also check out who the Cards got in their 3rd preseason game. Robby might get a chance to go over the middle against a certain #50 :)

@Church_NFL: I really like UDFA receiver Robby Toma's routes. Precise, quick. Very sharp. #CardsCamp

Cardinal scrimmage today, practicing with the 3rd team

@senorjessroot: One play, touchdown to Robby Toma

Man. I thought local media was impressed with Toma's catching ability. I kept hearing good things.

If he finds a place in the league, the kid deserves nothing short of a standing ovation. Wish him the best, hope he keeps humble, and I hope he just keeps working hard.

I am not a big NFL fan but i remember watching Cowboys on Hard Knocks. Danny Amendola was released and asked for practice squad but eventually made his way to St. Louis. Then off to Patriots.

Anyway, my point is, i don't know the background on Danny but I imagine Robby could still have a similar outcome. (Both small with a chance) Everything goes against him until he finds the right fit. Wish him the best and hope he gets on somewhere for a few years. I could see him getting set up with a solid base pay, bounce around, and then take his generous earnings and putting it to good use. I am just a huge fan of this kid and hope he grabs a good paycheck one day. I think he has big plans for his future. Just my opinion.

Yup Amendola was sent to the Cowboys Practice Squad and then to the Eagles Practice Squad a year later before being picked up by the Rams.

It's awesome where this kid has come from. From looking like a "comfort" recruit with Manti to potentially landing a gig in the NFL. This kid has proved he belongs in football for a long time. Best of luck kid!

The tough thing for Robby is with his size, or lack of, he doesn't have the same special teams utility as some bigger, more physical WRs. It'll make it tougher for him to catch on with such limited roster space in the NFL.

like D-Boe mentoined a guy like amendola bounced around before he found a home and being an undersized guy it will be his smarts and knowledge of the system/intracies of getting open in slot that will eventually land him a proper secure roster spot. Look at Brandon Stokely the guy is as old as the pyramids but he knows how to play the slot and get open, and thus has a decent chance to stick
