Tommy Frazier is a complete must, like that he got mentioned, worried that he isn't added just yet... You'd think they'd have to have Rocket...

My understanding is they had a button for sprint last year and now it's really just an accelerator... meaning it'll get your player to max speed quicker... I don't know how much of a game changer it will be when everyone will just mash it as usual anyway... just my two cents.

ratings... so long as the dpeth is there as it should be I'll be fine with it... I know some want a great team for online... I just want realistic rosters moving forward into dynasty.

I just want to point out that you said "mash it". That my friend is a southern term. I learnt that 15 years ago when I moved to Bammer.

On PS3 the R2 button was "sprint", but 'auto-sprint' was enabled by default in last year's game (controls were hold over from '12) it was effectively useless unless you turned auto sprint off, which almost NO ONE did.

At least this way you get the burst / stamina mechanics, which is clearly better for game play.

As of right now Doug Flutie, Ryan Leaf and Mike Singletary are being confirmed as in Ultimate team.... They have also hinted very strongly that Lawrence Taylor and or Joe Theisman are in as well.... they are also using the terms 'Tons' when describing former players and have stated a focus is legendary college stars that weren't the same level in the pros... That has Rocket written all over it...

Though if they were trying to sell the mode you'd think they'd drop some of these names rather than stay hush on it... So I'm at least a bit skeptical...

Some people were just going to buy it (launch day). For the others (fence), they're going to name drop at launch. Soooo.. a strategy predicated on good reviews from launch purchasers bolstered by new info to "push" people over the edge.. thinking aloud here.

and they even admitted that in true video game tradition... Bo is basically Super Man in the game... rated much higher than other backs, like Sanders,...

I guess it's safe to assume ALL from the heisman challenge last year are most likely in, including Tim Brown.

BTW, Bo was not hard to stop in Tecmo Bowl at all... he really wasn't... just blitz his play every down and play the pass with your best saftey... Marcus Allen wasn't gonna beat you...

I lvoed it when my friends took the Raiders, easy win.

Patience.. dynasty thread is coming.. probably going to create the thread at launch (I run PS3, XBox had it's own for awhile last year), but let people adjust and build their playbooks for the season over two weeks or so. By then initial rosters will be available on operation sports, etc.

The guy had one play... just pick it every time...

done.

Now Kevin Mack... he was near unstoppable... now hear me... he was NOT as fast or baller as Bo... but the guy had two good running plays and he also ran the only route in the game that was open every single blitz... KM was much more beast than Bo... if only becasue Bo was so limited and Mack was the key to three of Cleveland's four plays. Trust me on this, I won many Tecmo Bowl tourney's back in the dorm days... like every one.

You can keep your patience and PS3 dynasty thread and stick it up whoa!!! I almost got out of line there. I'm a 360 guy who has run the IE league a couple times. But thanks for the heads up!

In that video they are brownish. If u play with ND, change the helmets to the darker gold, it looks GREAT. Its the adidas strategy package helmet. PS.. play a 330 or 6 o'clock game to get the full effect. They look beautiful

The 'default' helmet looks like the 2010 but shinny. The Adidas strategy helmet is the one that looks like the one worn the last two years.

Tecmo Super Bowl was the game of all games. The most unstoppable player in the game was Jerry Rice if you put him at RB, not Bo or Barry.

Saw an interesting post on another forum from a guy that got a copy earlier this week.

well i guess i dont understand recruiting at all. since recruiting came out for this game in 1997, ive never been out of the top 10 with a decent team. i thought everything was going fine. i only had 3 commits in the season, none of which were instants. i got no commits on visits. the game and tutorial says wait till later to visit, so i did, i waited till week 13. well half the guys i was going for commited to other schools weeks 10, 11 and 12 on visits. the visists are insane bonus points. you can be 1000 points up on a guy and the computer can have a 1500+ visit. the most i got was 1100 with all bonuses. so we get to the offseason, i only have 3 out of 25 schollys filled and i have 19 more guys on my board and im number 1 on all of them. this is where it just gets stupid. in the one offseason week i had 11,500 points to spend. i noticed you can put all those points on ONE prospect as where in season there is a max per player per week of 500 starting out. so i looked at top 25 classes and everyone had 19+ committs. well exactly what i thought wuold happen did. the computer only needing like 1 or 2 more guys a team spent 4000+ on each of the players. i had 11000 to give to 19 guys. needless to say, i ened up signing 5 prospect period. i lost by 1000 or more on every single guy left. teams come out of nowhere and just rob you, that werent even on your list. i had sizeable advantages on each prospect too. but the offseason is just completely screwed. you cant go into the offseason with more than 2-3 players left to sign. so i pretty much had to can the dynasty and start over. not very impressed and not very realistic and not very happy about the changes so far to recruiting. not the least bit realistic. maybe im doing something wrong, but i literally was in first place byt a long shot on every prospect on my board and i got 5 total. something is wrong somewhere. i have to go to my folks today for fourth of july, so i wont be posting very much today.

sidenote, pretty much everything people are complaining about with demo except the weird lag calling plays on hurry up are in. after 12 hours with dynasty and gameplay, im kinda meh right now on this game. its for the most part the same game, just with a different feel running with the ball. seen some nice things that were impressive and made me say wow or cool, but seen a lot of the same **** from ea over the last 10 years. some things you shake your head and say "really, still not fixed? still only 12 hours in tho, so who knows if it will grow on me.

This kind of stuff worries me a bit. Anytime you make changes to recruiting you're bound to have some issues that need tweaking, or it's not working exactly as planned. I expect that either it'll get patched or maybe it was just the poster's strategy (Not likely though given his history with the game).

On the plus side I've seen numerous good reviews on the option game. Not just the read option, but traditional option appears to be fixed and feasible as an offense again. Yay! I really tried to make it work last year. I used to love running option in the old days before Willingham came in, but last year it was frustrating how the defense was all over it every play no matter who you were playing as or playing against.
