Why is the news about Hernandez getting released so breaking? Him getting life in jail was seen from a million miles away. Him getting released just added insult to injury

28 NFL players have been arrested since the Superbowl. That is kind of crazy

New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was taken from his home in handcuffs Wednesday morning, more than a week after a Boston semi-pro football player was found dead in an industrial park a mile from Hernandez's house.

Less than two hours later, the Patriots announced they had released Hernandez.

Everything you need to know about this situation.

Hey I wonder if the media will try to implicate Kelly?

Reports indicate that the deceased man was dating the sister or or sister-in-law of Hernandez's current girlfriend. Not long after the events transpired Hernandez destroyed his home surveillance system and his cell phone. He handed the police his cell phone in pieces..

My bet is that the private investigator the Patriots employ has an inside source that told him Hernandez would be arrested and the charges more serious than obstruction. Once the arrest came Kraft and the gang had no choice.

There is something wrong with the justice system if he doesn't

Dude, you don't even know what he did yet, and you're going to blame our legal system if he doesn't get life in prison???

Sorry bro, but you sound like those USC fans (and everyone else, really) who jumped to conclusions about Manti Te'o, saying he was gay and he was implicit in the hoax, without knowing any facts. We all got pissed when people didn't wait to hear all the facts, but now we're going to go and do the same with someone else?

Truth is, NO ONE outside of the police and Hernandez' inner circle knows what happened. He could have murdered the guy, he could have been the driver, he could have merely obstructed justice. All have different penalties.

I don't want to sound like I'm defending this idiot/thug...I hope he gets whatever the law allows, to the fullest extent (I'm actually pro death penalty, so if Massachusetts law allows that and he's guilty of murder, then I'm all for it. But I am going to say that I'm not going to blame our justice system if he doesn't get life in jail for an obstruction charge. I am going to let this play out and not lay any blame until I know more info. We should all do that...

Bad day to be Aaron. Loses his freedom, and his job. Mess with fire, and you are gonna get burned.

Your sig is entirely too big and quite offensive to this Red Wings fan. Please remove it for the sake of humanity...
