I was told the guy doing the timing has parkinsons disease
Not to **** on your parade or rain on your Cheerios (since you clearly intend humor),
but have you ever known anyone with Parkinson"s?
From The Mayo Clinic:
Parkinson's disease is a progressive disorder of the nervous system that affects your movement. It develops gradually, sometimes starting with a barely noticeable tremor in just one hand. But while tremor may be the most well-known sign of Parkinson's disease, the disorder also commonly causes stiffness or slowing of movement.
Almost half of the population of people with Parkinson's disease experience a sudden inability to move at all known as ‘freezing.’ It is a scary experience for most of those who experience it, particularly when it involves most of the body. But that is rare.
Soooo ... the Parkinsonian hand timer could have inadvertently stopped the watch due to an involuntary tremor (though I doubt that be enough strength in the tic to do so) or NOT stopped it due to a "freeze" episode.
I apologize if this spoils anyone's fun. I don't mean to be disruptive; it's just a sensitive subject for me.
