CONFIRMED: Golson No Longer Enrolled At ND

I know there has been mention of this young man maybe transferring to ND...would have to sit a year and would not solve the pending season QB situation. Only problem i see here is if lunt does come to SB and EG does return more than likely gonna loose someone to a transfer and the person would very likely be MZ.

Not a big fan of receiving transfer QBs. Why not just go for fresh recruits? What exactly has Lunt proven in the year since he was in HS?

very much doubt he even visits us....i just saw on twitter somewhere he is going to decide already after he visits louisville so there is a very small percent of him visiting here

I'm a bit emotional to get into all of this, but on the bright side, for those that say this will hurt recruiting, I understand that a lot of the stuff leading up to Golson will, but his situation specifically will not.

Reasons:

A) The 2014 and beyond kids will barely be playing with Golson whether they come here or not.

B) There's a lot of parents, even of athletes, that want their children held accountable while in school. If the starting QB who just won 11 games and has 3 years of eligibility left, isn't immune to proper academia, no one is.

C) Golson wants to come back. You think it says something bad about the school that this kid wants back into the program? He's not jaded, and handling it like a man. This looks good for ND.

There are obviously bad things about this, but thought I'd offer a positive outlook.

I think you are 100% correct. It shows that ND will not submit to pressure to win a NC by looking away from these situations. Win with class baby.
