USF coach Skip Holtz on his Google+ live chat said #NotreDame transfer Aaron Lynch will explore a waiver to be able to play for Bulls in '12

Eric Hansen ‏ @hansensouthbend

Lynch won't be able to enroll at USF until second summer session. Too short of a turnaround to be there for session No. 1 per Skip Holtz.

Great idea by South Florida's athletic department to have this forum. Actually called "hangout.." It's essentially a video chat.

Ain't that some shiat if they grant Lynch the waiver.

What possible "waiver" would there be? I thought Amir's getting granted was a stretch, but I'm not aware of any exemption to the undergraduate transfer rules that would allow Aaron to be eligible right away. Curious, though, if anyone knows of any.

I don't think they give waivers for "missing your girlfriend"

I saw that about Lynch and thought, what could he get a possible waiver for? I certainly don't blame Skip for trying and I actually hope he gets it as much of a long shot as I think it is.

Carlisle had the excuse that his whole family moved to the mid-west for work, Lynch is for missing a girlfriend?

Kids get chicks pregnant every year though right?

Yes they do, and in no way am I saying that Aaron is expecting a child. I just think that he could probably make a case for a waiver if he was.

True...that'd be just about the only way. His immediate family lives in Ohio now.
