Where are u seeing these? II only has the guys TT said and 247 visit list hasn't been updated since Sapp left

I know Allen mentioned a "mid-June" visit and that Andrews might come along. Who's the CB?

I see it now, thanks GB. I was looking in the Summer Visit List.

Adoree Jackson could be the CB but Watkins would be huge too.

This might be a question that can't he answered but is ND changing their camp format at all to make it like Friday Night Lights? Sounds like that weekend will be the biggest so far.

Nothing new in the 247 update. We are making a huge impression on the coach and Tyler, with the visits. Only planned official is us. Plans on taking one to OSU and Alabama. IMO, he won't say it but we seem to be pulling away with this currently. Obviously getting him to visit in June would be exceptional.

I agree. For some reason I feel good about us getting this kid.

He wants to play TE but it doesn't sound like its a deal breaker. My understanding is that the staff has been very open with him that he'll start out at TE but could be moved to OLB. IMO, he has a higher ceiling at OLB than TE but what do I know.

Surprised that there's much debate about whether he'd play TE at Notre Dame. With Coach going big-&-bigger at wide receiver, the bodyplan difference between the Eifert/Hernandez type TE and the rest of the wide receivers is becoming miniscule. The fact that he's ranked right at or near the top of HS prospects seems a no brainer to install him in our TE=Superman system. There should be plenty of playing time for him and Weishar.

The fact that its been stressed by Rivals and 247 that he's being recruited as a Big Skill who could play TE or OLB kinda signals that there can be a discussion. If we land Andrews it becomes even more of a discussion. Haven't heard anything lately but there's also still Dalton Schultz who in my opinion is the #1 TE

I'm also very much a Schultz fan as well but IMO if Andrews is willing to be a FLEX-TE rather than a true WR then IMO he's the best TE in the class.

Schultz and Luatua are equal but different and neither are true old school TE's IMO.

In fact I see a lot of these guys being very similar to the recent ND TE's.

Weishar is practically a clone of Eifert.

Schultz to me is very much like John Carlson.

Andrews is a combination of Eifert and Rudolph.

Then there is Luatua who like Heuerman who can play both the traditional TE as well as being FLEX-TE but IMO aren't one or the other like how one would say Eifert is without question a Flex-TE or how they would say Smythe is a traditional TE.

That said mismatches are more important than ever and I would love to see Kelly to go Bill Walsh like and get creative and create an offense that could take advantage of the likes of Heuerman and Luatua to go with the likes of the new school Flex-TE's and the Traditional TE's.

I would love to see a 3 TE's set that isn't about being big and running the ball but one that would question who is who on what play for the defense. A set that would feature 1 TE, 1 F-TE and 1 old school H-back type.

The options and different looks and the trouble that ND could cause defenses. Having a H-back that could motion into being a TE, WR or take on the inline blocking on the fly so it opens up the TE for a quick slant or seam route.

I don't know but I'm a fan of the TE position and I would like to see some creativity to take advantage of the mismatches as well as the fact that these guys are special talents.
