I mean, you should. If it's Stanford... that's not great for us.

I know it's not going to be ND, and the chance is very, very, very small it will be come early Feb next year. But it is valuable info.

I understand he is good but he only one person.

If you didn't want information about Jabrill Peppers, you shouldn't have clicked on a thread titled "Jabrill Peppers"

His teammate Juwan Bushell Beatty just committed to Michigan

FYI- OL, rankings:

Rivals: 5.7 rating, 3-star,
Scout: 3-star, #45 OT,
247: 4-star, 90 rating, #17 OT,
247 Comp: 3-star, .893 rating, #25 OT,
ESPN: 4-star, 83 rating.

He's a big boy. Looks to be 6'5"-6'7", 295-330 range.

Offers:
Michigan, BC, FSU, Florida, Massachusetts, Miami, MSU, Rutgers, Tennessee, WVA.

Solid prospect.

Michigan has all the momentum right now with Peppers for sure, but Stanford will get one last crack at him in either June or July when he takes a visit out there.

If Michigan does land him though, that's a pretty impressive start. He's the top DB prospect in the country by a mile in my opinion, and they already have Drake Harris who to me is the same thing at WR.

Alex Bars is Notre Dame or Tennessee imo.

I'm certainly not expecting him to pick Michigan. Only one spot left for an OL, and it's going to be another tackle like JBB who is 6-6+, not a tweener who will move down to guard like the 6'4" Mason Cole.

Looking more and more like a Michigan lock which I would actually strongly prefer to him going to Stanford.

My greatest dislike of ending the series with Michigan. It's gross that I'm not more upset about this.

Just for reference (I just had to look it up):

Chris Breezy ran a 10.81 100-meter dash in 2012. (See Riddick and Golson talking about Brown's speed here: Turning Points - Golson to Brown - YouTube)
C.J. Prosise's best in Virginia, from what I can tell, is 10.99.
Olympic qualifying speed is in the range of 10.07. (Bolt is like, 9.63).

Suffice it to say that Peppers won't be beaten by too many people deep?

HOLY ****

Wowzers. I knew Peppers was fast, but a 10.48 for a kid going into his senior season is flying. There aren't too many prospects who have the size, speed, athleticism, and all-around football skill to go both ways in college, but I think Peppers is definitely that rare athlete that could do it.

He's the #2 player to Rivals, #2 player to ESPN. But the #11 to Scout and the #9 to 247. Basically unanimous top 10, so maybe that's nit-picking with Scout and 247's ranking, but I see him as a top 5 player at worst. He's very special, probably the best player to come out of New Jersey in at least a decade if not longer.

Wish we could land him. Doesn't look good, I know. Didn't Atkinson run a sub 10.4 last year?

Under 10.6 FAT is blazing. If this is hand time or hand-start electric finish (even more inflated) then the impressiveness drops significantly. If he ran a 10.48 FAT......... dayyyyyyyyyum.

I heard Khalfani Muhammad ran a sub 10.4 today. Will be interesting to see if it was smart to pass on him. He might be the next Sproles.
