He will be a five-star prospect for scout too. Tomorrow they will release a new top 100 and on friday a new top 300.

Smith wasn't even ranked in the initial Scout 100 back in the fall, but made a huge move after a monster junior season.

"No one saw their stock rise more than Smith this past season. The athlete was a part time receiver for a ground control offense early in the year. He was then inserted at safety and showed elite ability. Smith has the prototype size and speed of what you're looking for in a safety with the toughness and hitting ability to match. His heart is still at receiver and he's an elite prospect on that side of the ball as well but we love his upside in the secondary," said Biggins.

In all seriousness I think ND is recruiting him as a DB.

Personally I think he should play WR. He reminds me so much of Lee coming out of high school.

thats interesting since i think lee was considered a cb coming out of high school, before usc moved him to wr.

i'll take the lou holtz apporach and bring in the best athletes and then find a spot for him. he'd make a great safety or wr, imo he's max redfield v2.0.

Random bump but just was browsing through the new Crystal Ball predictions on 24/7 and Hamilton, Niebuhr, and Simmons all picked ND for JuJu. Also predictions are heavy ND for Braden Smith and Starks.

I never heard him saying anything interesting about ND. Typical quotes but nothing to predict he will end in South Bend.

IMO Juju is the #2 safety innthe class behind only Quin Blanding. Him and Redfield back there is scary to even think about.

It is well known that I absolutely love this kid. He is at the top of my list for this class.

Re watched his tape. Excellent safety prospect. I still prefer him as a WR though.

Firmly in the mix for him. Loves the academics and grad rate. Wants to major in the medical field and NDs pre-med program is nationally known.

Planning on visiting for the USC game.

Being recruited at safety.

Other schools standing out are tOSU, scUM, SCum, UCLA, and UW. Could go the whole way to the end of the college season before he makes a decision. Sorry Sherm, but we are in trouble if he's next.
