Explanation: NDFister also know as Star69 also know as NDs biggest stalker sent his posse after Hood probably because he DMd Hood a list of recruits, like the staff couldn't do that themselves. He's so obsessed with tweeting at recruits he probably would rather have Wiltfongs job than be Tom Brady

Time to slit my wrists....... That would be better than associating myself with fister and the rest of his Little Minions.

How douchey can one be without actually being over the top??? I mean this kid is an absolute outcast at this point is looking to become douche canoe of the year, but keeps on going. My God, Man......step away from the keyboard.

Surely someone on this board has the chops to dox this jackanapes, no? Happens on 4chan and reddit all the time. Just need to glean one or two pieces of information; everything else should be easy to get thereafter.

Send his contact information to ND Compliance along with links to his nearly endless record of secondary violations. They send him a Cease and Desist letter. And then Fister can decide whether tweeting at recruits is worth never getting to step in Rock's House again.

Dead serious about this.

I literary called him and his cult of followers out earlier. Accidentally called out my man Clash, but this guy reminds me so much of Joe Carroll. I honestly hate that guy so much I have just given up. He was responding to some of my tweets because I gave in. Wanted to throw my Iphone and than run it over and after I did that light it on fire.

Thank God he isn't part of this board and I hope he never finds this place. He recruits over guys from Bangbang and they just go full potato all day long.

Can't ND instruct recruits to block certain numbers from their phone, then act as a legal agent to swear out no contact writs? These kids by in large part are minors. Is there a legal expert who can answer this question.


Plan B. Can someone at IE send out a signal over the phone line that melts all these a$$hat's electronic devices?

Sorry I didn't see this first I was so pi$$ed off. But I think this should go further. In most states there are felony stalking statuates. I don't think anyone needs to see hard prison time. But the risk of marking a persons record with a felony, and labeling them for everyone's future safety is a good plan.

Don't know what "dox" means (how old am I getting?) but it seems pretty easy to look him up.

First and foremost, his name is presumably Joshua as that is his display name on Twitter. Is it a safe assumption that his last name is Fister? Maybe, maybe not but that's a good place to start. It gets really easy if you have his IP address as with a little bit of finagling you can usually get the general vicinity of where someone lives and then could simply go to the e-phonebook and look up Joshuas/Fisters.

Alternatively, you can run a google image search on his Twitter avatar, etc. and see if you get anything to pop linking to a Facebook page, Google+ account, etc.

I should note that honestly I think there is a fine line with tweeting recruits that is OK as long as you don't cross it. Saying "happy birthday" or "congrats!" or even participating in the #QtoND thing with a retweet or two is quite benign. I'm probably in the minority on this, but I think having a positive social media presence can only help. Mike Bellotti once said the hardest thing about recruiting against SEC schools, Ohio State, ND, etc. to Oregon was that the fan devotion and fervor was something you couldn't replicate with any amount of $ and once kids would go visit one of the aforementioned schools it was basically game over because the kids decided this was the kind of fan base they wanted to play for.

What is not OK is actively recruiting someone with stuff like "Michigan sucks go to ND!" or anything of the like. Or asking them questions. Or otherwise putting any kind of "pressure" on. I liken OK actions to the social media equivalent of giving a high 5 or thumbs up... and the inappropriate interactions to giving a hug, sermon, or Navy recruiting office pitch.

I sent a screen shot to the @IrishCompliance twitter account and sent some follow up questions asking what can be done. I agree, Whiskey, that a cease and desist would likely be all it would take but I fear they will say it is too much work. There is some cloudiness around the term booster which is why I don't think schools are in such a hurry to stop people from actively recruiting on Twitter. It would literally be a full time job if someone were to try and wipe it out. All these guys that tweet our recruits non stop insist they are not boosters so they can do what they want. Assuming they have not made any financial contributions, and knowing full well that these asshats didn't go to ND, the only definition that would likely apply is:

Have been involved otherwise in promoting the institution's athletics program

I am pretty liberal when it comes to the occasional hashtag or "Go Irish!" but it's the ones like Fister and his band of misfits that literally stalk these kids that I have a problem with.

This is now an issue about the safety of seventeen year old kids. That OSU booster from Kentucky that was spooning with AA wasn't enough? The legal implications of this are greater than sports teams and NCAA compliance. A shot across the bow that happened to sink one of these reprobates would be a damned fine start!

I just never understood contacting recruits if you aren't from the school and actively recruiting or are yourself a current recruit or committed player and are trying to recruit.

There is no F'ing reason to do it.

You have to have a really strong sense of "yeah...but I'm different."

One would assume that even these nudniks wouldn't want every fan with a twitter account sending recruits private messages and getting in their ear. They must seriously believe that they have the magic touch.

Like Lax I don't think there is any harm in people tweeting recruits once every so often to show their support. It's by no means a major factor in the recruitment of most kids, but I think sometimes it can help a little for recruits to get support from the fan base.

Personally I don't tweet at any of the recruits, but you see recruits regularly retweet and reply to fans so I think it can have a positive effect. The problem is when you have someone like Fister, who no doubt believes that he plays a big part in the recruitment of these kids. He's way too involved in tweeting recruits and who knows what he's saying to them through DM.
