Oh I'm aware, simply saying that Miami has been established for their entire lives.

Miami Central early commits

Miami Central early commits

Both Dalvin Cook and Sony Michel were in Gainesville for Saturday's spring game. The scrimmage featured a lot of hand offs to freshman running back Kelvin Taylor. After the event, Cook switched his commitment from Clemson to the Gators. With Yearby's commitment to Miami, and now, Cook's to Florida, Michel has two less in state schools to consider for his verbal. I wonder if Cook's commitment to the Gators will put pressure on an Irish halfback target to consider an early commitment?

And they've won a NC since then, and played in the NCG the next year, which they will remember...

They also send a lot of guys to the NFL, who these recruits have been watching on Sundays their whole lives, and many of whom tout The U regularly.
It's a credible school academically, close to home for Floridians, Golden's a good coach. If they ever start winning games again, they can make it a lot harder for us to pull Florida kids.

I don't think he ever actually visited Nd though did he? When he came up last it was to the Miami game in Chicago.

Yeah you are right. Also isn't PigTostal Saturday?

It got cancelled last year because Excise police found out and busted it basically. Tickets have yet to be sold this year but I guarantee it happens to some extent under the radar as to avoid the cops.

“@flasportsbuzz: So coveted RB Sony Michel tells ESPN's Kipp Adams he's committing next week. His coach's assistant said Sony told her this week he is not.”

This development is right in line with what TV was talking about. They think we have a punchers chance in this and it could get very interesting after a good visit. They also mention how good of a relationship he has with Alford

Would we rather have Michel or Starks? Michel's history of knee injuries worries me.

But Michel would really open up that Heritage pipeline.

Then again, a Gorman pipeline isn't bad either.

Why not both?

#2 RB in the country behind Fourtnette when healthy. Gime Michel over Starks. Starks is kinda like Bryant while Sony is a different kinda RB than any we have.

Sony was apparently a legend in FL before his ACL tear. still elite but IMO if healthy its:

Fournette
Michel

Everybody else

Just me, but I'm taking both with a lil bit of Hood on the side if he so chooses. I can't fathom turning away any of these guys. It's a just personal feeling, but I feel like the roster is full enough to overload on some position groups here and there, while skimping on some others this cycle. If it's at RB, then so be it. Mo talent plz!

imo if he's planning on committing next week there is no way it's to us....I think it will be better news for us if he cancels or holds off on committing after the visit this weekend.
