A top three emerged for Bunting a little more than two weeks ago when Notre Dame offered the fast-rising junior. He is scheduled to make a visit to the South Bend, Ind., campus on April 13. Before that he's scheduled to visit Oregon (April 6). Vanderbilt is also in Bunting’s top group. Ohio State offered a few days later, however, forcing him to erase his leaderboard before the ink even dried--espn insider

Guessing that top 2 that became a top 3 that became a top 4 will become a top 5

I'll take this cat over Jeb and Weishar. Plus its well known Jeb is staying south and Weishar might like Michigan and Northwestern.

Same prospect Tyler Eifert was coming out of high school

I really think its us, Michigan and Ohio State. I don't think he will head to the West Coast. But he is from Chicago and we don't land Chicago kids anymore

Compares ND to a Rolls Royce campus and facility wise, said Oregon was like a Lambo. Stayed Friday night and got to see life off the field for ND players. Hosted by Onwualu and hung out with Heuerman a lot. Enjoyed meeting BK and seeing practice, liked the pace of practice. Has a more favorable opinion of ND now, and liked it more than he thought he would, mostly due to the guys on the team personality wise.

That is a very interesting description and contrast. I think that really helps illustrate the difference in how some kids arrive at their decision, both for and against ND.

I'm reading too much into that comment, but I think 16/17 year old kids are going to like a Lambo 9 times out of 10 over a Rolls Royce.

yeah he was using it as ND is the more traditional, classic, and elite campus, while Oregon is the new hot, flashy one.

Mom was extremely impressed with the amount of time BK spent with Ian and Nic

Bunting's offer list is elite, suggesting he might be underrated by the rankings services. Would be great to add him.

IDK about y'all, but I will take a Rolls with suicide doors, wet bar, and room for six in the back over a two-seater crotch rocket any day.

Yeah. Maybe I'm getting old but I'd definitely take a Rolls over Lambo any day. Then again, maybe age factors in here.
