I understand adding 15 extra roster spots for every team ends up eating a lot of space in the long run, but there should be something they can do to create a larger roster.

I just can't rap my head around the fact that I have recruiting classes of only 10-12 guys some years (if you start with certain teams and don't cut a bunch of upperclassmen, some teams have classes of 6-9 at times). It's annoying, especially for a game that is so "realistic" when it comes to the actual players on the roster.

I would consider paying $80 for the game if using better discs meant having realistic rosters.

I assume there will be no effort at all in this year's game as the shift to next gen. has already begun...

sad where sports games were at the end of the PS2/XBox era to where they are now... this was almost a complete loss of a generation when you compare how good they all were last gen.

No way those 15 spots are a space issue anymore. Maybe on the last generation of consoles when you had a PS2 memory card, or at least in the old PS1 days which had even smaller cards. Today the roster file is like...8mb if I recall. That's piddly in comparison to the Gigs of data that the actual games tend to install. I see no reason why they can't up the rosters, unless EA is just lazy about having to create and balance all the fake players for each team.

I was already hesitant to buy this year's edition, but now that He-Who-Cannot-Tie-His-Shoes is on the cover, no chance. F*ck michigan. So glad we paid him back for the past couple years by $hitting on his birthday.

With fan voting, I seriously doubt you will ever see a Notre Dame player on the cover. Even if they win the Heisman.

Kinda funny how in all that time since 1996 Michigan has had all these virtual accomplishments you list with so few actual accomplishments. 1/2 a national championship where you dodged the best team for your bowl game (and 6 other top teams) and squeaked out a win over a lesser opponent while Nebraska beat #3 Tennessee by 3+ TDs.... and 2 outright conference championships of probably the most consistently weak BCS conference out there. Dominance.

It does suck that U of M and Nebraska couldn't play, but both teams did play two of the same teams:

How would they swing that in NCAA I wonder? Because technically, there are no "players" in that game. I mean it would work for the more famous players in CFB but for others it would be confusing. It would be kind of lame to say "Oh, I got... number 5 RB from Oregon... Time to google who that is!"

They should just focus on Online Dynasty and Road to Glory, I think giving time to a ultimate team would be a bad decision. Personally, I never liked ultimate team I prefer to have complete control if I want to build up a team and especially in NCAA that is the best part of the game. Like you guys have said it would be a mess having 70 players from 130 schools would be insane for ultimate team. Rather have them focus on more fundamental gameplay things for NCAA and ultimate team on Madden or other games like that

If they take away manual recruiting/dynasty in NCAA like they took away importing/drafting in Madden, I'm gonna be highly upset.

If they implement Ultimate Team in the college game, it will have to replace a game mode, which probably means dynasty.

They need to drop the mascot mode and the new Heisman history deal so they can put in 85-man rosters. I'm really getting frustrated that I try to turn Western Kentucky into a powerhouse, and yet have to sign a recruiting class of just 6 players because of how the roster is set up.

There's no reason they shouldn't have a bigger roster at this point, and yet they still won't do it.

85 man roster would make this game infinitely better. If they take the good aspects from Madden's franchise mode this year and enhance recruiting from last year's NCAA it will be awesome. Building up schools from 1 star to powerhouses is the best way to do it haha.

I may be in the minority but I have always liked Denard (except when he single-handedly beat ND) and think he is a good football player and a classy guy despite his affiliation with Michigan football. If DickRod would have stayed at Michigan, Robinson might have won a couple of Heismans. Obviously Denard won't play QB in the pros, but he could be a nice pickup for some team as a slot back/returner.

I heard him on Dan Patrick today... I think he spoke English for half the interview, there were times where I honestly had no clue what the guy was saying, or attempting to say...
