Offered today per several sources. Had named a top 4 of USC, UCLA, Michigan and Wisconsin 4 days ago.

Oh my goodness. DO WANT!

This kid could play WR, Safety or CB.

Does he remind anyone else of Marqise Lee coming out of high school?

Im a huge long beach poly fan despite living in Canada, and I can't be more excited about this!!!

However, he grew up a SC fan, like most kids in southern cal, and they are most likely the team to beat.

But, with the additions of Max Redfield and Eddie Vanderdoes, being that they were USC fans and previous commitments to the school, I'm not couting out any USC lean prospect with a ND offer.

I hope he gives ND a good look!

^Yeah SC is the favorite but he would be a monster steal. He and Adoree' are the cream of the crop in Cali this year.

As long as Kiffin is in Heritage Hall, there's no such thing as a USC lock.

One of the problems I see with the kids that have an interest in USC in the 2014 class is that it is likely that Kiffin will be gone after the 2013 season. (My opinion) USC will hire a heavyweight with lots of flash and big talk, you know, rebuilding a storied program to its elite status. Lots of room and playing time for young 18 year old studs.

I think that will be a big influence on kids that are USC fans but might be looking elsewhere because of USC's struggles. Any committment from threse kids will be a fight, especially after Kiffin is fired. January and February 2014 will be a dogfight.

Very valid point. The USC faithful wont let him continue to blame sanctions. And this is one program that ALL the heavy hitters would consider. But there is a long time to signing day with an entire season to play. And let us not forget the Kiffin is a snake oil salesman who just might squeak another year out of the AD. At least we can keep hoping. Keep throwing out the offers and see what comes in for us. All they can do is say no. In which case we move on.

When the video started up I thought for sure he had put "Total Eclipse of the Heart" as his highlight music. I was about to be stoked.

Who would this new coach be? I agree with the concern, and it's a concern I've had, but I don't see any major NFL or NCAA names out there now that fit that description.

Who was the last player from Poly to go to ND?

Freddy Parish?

Ya, he was! Wow, that was about 11 years ago too.

Poly is known basically as a pipeline school to USC or UCLA

Check this out, in 2002, poly had 4 five star prospects and 1 four star prospect (according to scout) and four went to USC (Herschel Dennis, Manuel Wright, Winston Justice, Darnell Bing) and the other went to UCLA (Mercedes Lewis).

Since 2002, Long Beach Poly has had 11 players go to UCLA, and had 9 players go to USC, quite a few players also went to California during that span too.

Now, it would be nice to finally get a kid from Poly again.

a friend from college went to Poly and she had the glorious task of tutoring the above so they could academically qualify for college. Collectively they were about as smart as a sack of bricks reportedly. :p

There few better things in this life than "steal" a guy from LA, especially if USC is involved.

Scout: Unranked
247: 16 in the nation

Weird

Said he has high interest

That makes 2 of us.

Kiffy is no longer blaming the sanctions. A couple of weeks ago he started blaming his defense.

Does Scout even try anymore? I know the big services aren't always going to agree, but there have some serious discrepancies this year with Scout that are just laughable. Dahell is going on over there?
