Indeed. NFL coaches face issues of a different sort, but a contract's a contract and no one cares if their players can pass accounting.

If the purpose of coaching college is to help guide young men to succeed in life, both on and off the field, then such adversity is just part of the privilege of being such a leader. It's a challenging task, but also part of what makes the college game unique. Hopefully, EG will find a way to face this mistake in his own life, but there are many other successes taking place at Notre Dame that are often forgotten at the expense of more controversial occurrences. It's definitely a tremendous responsibility.
