i just watched his interview again, this kid is so articulate. Can't wait to see him contribute on the field

I will put this in a couple threads, I watched and re-watched the noon Kelly interview. I think Kelly tips things off, if you can read him. And I think I can. I believe he feels that one of the best things about this class is the hidden talent. He outright said that Will Fuller was all of that. Here are the ones that Kelly thinks will be monsters before they leave: James Onwaulu, Corey Robinson, and Isaac Rochelle.

I am getting the feeling that he thinks that Rochelle has as high a ceiling as any defensive lineman he ever recruited.

He is blown away by Onwaulu's hidden characteristics, not limited to but including his beastly strength and conditioning. This kid can do things that other elite athletes cannot.

If I gage it, I would bet that BK has actually spent time thinking about whether Corey Robinson will end up better than DGB. This is guy is a Brian Kelly gold mine. He is on a totally different trajectory than DGB and just about any other wide receiver. (Yes, that was a little bit of my personal opinion, but hardly any hyperbole at all!)

IMO Fuller is great has all the little things that can't be taught but he needs to get stronger a lot stronger.

Onwaulu is the type of guy that's better than he's given credit for and will be unappreciated until he's no longer around.

Corey Robinson will be a monster but it's going to take time and I could see it looking like he's going to be a bust but then will break out in a massive way in the 2nd half of his football career at ND.

As for Isaac well IMO he's going to be KLM 2.0

Love both guys upside but Tuitt is a talent that we won't see very often. Not sure Rochelle will be as dominant. However he'll definitely be very solid like KLM

True, Plato said that just because you throw a rock in the air 9,999 times, that doesn't mean it is going to come down the 10,000th. But if I look at it the two coming out of high school, Tuitt and Rochelle; they are the same height, Rochell is listed as five pounds heavier, and they both seem to have the uncanny ability in their high school tapes of being able to run backs down from front or back. I choose to wait to see that he doesn't do it before I eliminate it as a possibility. I am pretty sure the coaching staff uses a similar approach.

Coming out of high school Tuitt was a better prospect. Rochelle will be very productive. But Tuitt was on another level. Keep in mind that as a sophomore Tuitt almost broker nd's sack record. Rochelle wont be there as a sophmore. And I gotta say bogs that this conversation is almost the opposite of what you were saying about jaylon. U didn't want everybody to heap so much praise on him and that the comparison to spond shouldn't be made at this point. But now u are comparing Rochelle to Tuitt.

According to Sports Illustrated, David Robinson thinks Corey "will eventually fill out to something close to 6'8" and 240 pounds." Can't imagine he'd stay at WR if that comes to fruition, but it would be a sight to see.

How tall were Stanfords Tight ends last year, they looked better and more athletic than Stanfords wide receivers.

I would love to have a 6'8, 240-lb wideout. If he maintained his speed, he would be an absolute matchup nightmare.

The problem with too much height as a receiver is you are relegated to red zone looks only. Too much exposed body to be functional anywhere else on the field when you don't have TE bulk.

6'8 265 and 6'6 252

One of my biggest pet peeves is comparing recruits to bonafide studs, so let me be clear that I am not doing that, but there is a 6'8 250 pound fellow out there who would more or less rewrite football history books if he ever felt so inclined. He wears #6 and plays for the Miami Heat.

He was a top ranked WR coming out of SVSM. Saw him play bball when he was a senior.
