Being interviewed now after the round. Playing with Belichick the last 3 days. They say Kelly is a 13 handicap.

Saw his swing, definitely not spending too much time on the course.

Just good PR like his dally with the NFL- makes him and Notre Dame appear on the cutting edge and recruits love this stuff. 'Hey Mom look at coach at Pebble Beach'. Kelly is smart, very smart. As if to say Notre Dame is not going away. Rockne/Ara/Lou would have done this stuff too.

I saw a couple of his shots.
One into the bunker and the other was a nice little scramble out from under some trees... stuck it on the green.
He wasn't that bad, could probably hold his own in my regular foursome.

A 13 handicap doesn't evoke thoughts of LT or Sir Charles. Funny thing is Chuck was a mid single digit handicap at one point. It's all mental for him.

No way with a 13 handicap. These guys are a disgrace to golf...
