They're recruiting him harder than they were.

As an aside, you don't need to use the tags for embedded tweets. Just paste the html directly into your post.[/QUOTE]

Thanks, didn't know that.

And I didn't know that Jeb was a 2014 TE recruit. Makes sense now.

So on ESPNU, Derrick Henry just said he thinks he's playing RB.

Let's see how many RBs that makes for Bama. Derrick Henry, Altee Tenpenny, Alvin Kamara, and Tyren Jones. That makes 1...2...3...4 RBs.

Ha ha ha ha ha haaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Here are the possible answers. More than 1 may be correct.
1) Poor roster management
2) Saban will run the Wishbone offense
3) Saban lied to some of them about what position they will play
4) Saban doesn't give a **** because he doesn't have to keep the underperformer(s) on the roster.

There is a direct correlation between 1 and 4 because you can't poorly manage your roster when you can cut the dead weight.

#1 is addressed above. #2 is highly unlikely. #3 is a probable winner. #4 is my guess.

I could be wrong and Bama is a bit thin at the RB position, but 4 RBs is excessive and poor roster management.....oh wait. See the correlation between 1 and 4 again.

On a different note, Congratulations to the Notre Dame staff for closing 100% today, 23 of 23.

And congratulations to Irish Envy members for the calm coolness we exhibited today.

for anyone interested, check out ISD's special signing day Power Hour tonight. Torii Hunter Jr., Doug Randolph, Isaac Rochell, Max Redfield and Hunter Bivin are already scheduled to be on and Christian is working to get more.

I heard somewhere a couple of days ago that Saban tells the RB's he recruits that they will split time w other backs in order to keep them fresher for the League. He said he understands that RB has the shortest shelf life of all positions so he wants to manage their carries while at "school" so they will have more life left in them for Sundays. Oh, and he has now inked 85 in 3 years. Wonder if this means he won't accept anybody next year to stay in line w NCAA regs. Yup, Nick Satan.

Did ESPN ever talk about our class today? Or did they continue to ride the SEC's jock?

They were fair with nd, but how they glossed over the USC implosion was hilarious. If nd was in that situation they may have ran a prime time special.

Let's assume we close with EV. That'll mean we finished with the best recruiting class we've had in 20+ years. And we still won't even be close to having the #1 class.

'Bama...

But w EV ND would have a 5 star at each level of the Defense. That in itself is special. Oh, and 1 more thing, 2 of those 5 stars had previously been verbally committed to U$C. I love their pain.

Stanford had a pretty quiet day. Only 12 members of the class and they are ranked 63rd in the 247 composite rankings.

Stanford basically has a 2 man class in Ryan Burns and Peter Kalabayi. Those 2 are gonna be beasts. I think Austin Hooper also will be pretty damn good.

I thought I'd look at the upcoming schedule and the last few recruiting classes and see who should be the most talented, Stanford has a pretty massive drop off.

Notre Dame: 9, 12, 5

Temple: 84, 78, 82
Michigan: 25, 9, 4
Purdue: 76, 50, 62
Michigan State: 34, 32, 33
Oklahoma: 12, 15, 15
Arizona State: 74, 37, 44
Southern Cal: 4, 8, 14
Air Force: 117, 89, 104
Navy: 101, 117, 116
Pittsburgh: 48, 34, 32
BYU: 59, 68, 64
Stanford: 20, 6, 63

I thought it was shockingly consistent, to be honest.

Yes he is. At first I didn't know who was talking when I came back in the room. Very articulate. Love him "not caring" where he ends up as long as he gets on the field. Team Baller!
