Is he doing it from school? I hope his HS has more than one fax machine. Sign it, scan and the email it. There's always a way around these problems.

Just totally guessing but if I had to pick a reason it could a school like FSU or Miami giving him late interest..... he always wanted to go to one of those schools early on but he was a back burner option for them. Maybe they started blowing up his phone this morning saying they have a spot.

I'm basing this on nothing... but if you believe Auburn is out and that the fax machine is working this is the only thing I can see.

A lot of "fax machines" are just softwear that send a scan to a particular phone number/fax machine. Either way, not sure what the meaningful difference between a scan recieved by email and printed off, or a scan made by a fax machine and printed off another fax machine is.

Exactly. If there's anything we should learn from recruiting and past experiences, it's that anything can happen and the reporters we trust for info are sometimes wrong. I am not saying this is the case with TF (especially since multiple sources are reportedly reassuring), but ultimately nothing is official until you get them to "sign on the line which is dotted".

I guess since Tarean isn't holding up his appointment with all of us we should just consider him good as gone.

I am all for not overreacting,and I am not worried either way thanks to Bryant, but the fact that our one wavering recruit has not sent in his LOI on schedule on NSD is not a good sign.

Hopefully he'll sign, but we have been here before! I'm not assuming the worst, I'm just not assuming anything at this point.
