'13 IL RB Ty Isaac (Michigan Transfer)

Kelly has nothing to lose keeping in contact with a 5* RB that lives 100 miles away from ND. Isaac is about to sign with a crumbling USC team and class that is over 2,000 miles away. You never know what could happen in recruiting, the same thing could happen to us.

So if Ty decommitted, who would be his likely 2nd choice? Wasn't it down to USC and ND before he committed to USC? Or am I thinking of someone else. What I'm getting at, does ND have a legit shot at landing him if he decides he doesn't want to risk his career on a sinking ship at SC? Did he ever visit ND?

My two cents is that he has had every opportunity to be part of the ND family and has said no....i personally love our current class and would like to add 1 more tomorrow (EV).

I have no clue what Ty's priorities are but there is no reason for him to sign his LOI tomorrow, at least with USC.

They will take him whenever he signs. I know one thing, I've never seen a great back behind a poor offensive line and USC's is going to be going down not up, especially if there are injuries, etc.

Might as well step back and take another look and be sure USC is what he wants.

Max Browne is 6'5" 215 and Max Wittek is 6'4" 235. Not sure I'd classify either as "tiny"

There is an update on the 247 site and basically Ty is pissed that all these kids did this at the last minute but he is still a Trojan. He did say that his parents are concerned with everyone jumping ship and that they would talk about it tonight, but he made a commitment and wants to stick with it. Also said a bunch of coaches called him today after all the decommits and e expects more through the night.

He shouldn't be pissed at the kids, he should be pissed at the dumbass coach that he pledged his commitment to. If kiffin wasn't ****ing with some of these kids it wouldn't be so bad. Ty needs to pull his head out of his u know what and figure this out. Seems like a bright kid, maybe mom needs to smack him upside his head

I think Ty is frustrated by all this sure, but I do think he is picking USC because he loves USC. Not so much because of Kiffin. Still hoping for a miracle though.

I wish Ty the best because he is a helluva player. But this what USC deserves for Kiffin running the program the way he is. Karma is catching up with him and it's kicking his butt.

Great example. Also Barry Sanders had some pretty bad offensive lines and just made something out of nothing.

But those are the exceptions to the rule.
