Wonder if we have had our in-home yet. I know he is out of school so I figured it would make the most sense to visit him in the morning / afternoon and then make the trek to EV for the night.

I know SC is supposed to have an in home with EV tonight as well. Wonder if BK slaps Kiffy on the a$$ when he walks out. Haha

Or simply whispers in his ear something like "Nice playcalling at the one" and he and Elston share a laugh.

This is a pic from the driveway. I overheard Kiff telling Kelly that he wishes Kelly would've of taken the Eagles job. Then something about him wanting to be as good of a coach as Kelly. Then right before he got in his car he told Kelly to have fun coaching EV and Fitts. I might have misheard though, my whisper 2000 batteries are getting low.

That was a fun game at USC. Hearing all the fans in our section boo and talk shat about Kiffin.

I approve this message. What a joy it was. My dad and I were getting involved in that good fun.

Lane and Co. are rolling out the red carpet and VIP treatment Sunday for Kylie and family. They are going to go all out in trying to get him back. Word is his dad may not want him to go to UCLA.

Why on earth would his dad not want him at UCLA? What is there to dislike about that school? Unless his family is all USC fans.... which I doubted they were because his sister is at UCLA.

Maybe its just me, but as a parent I wouldn't want my son playing for a coach who has already screwed my son. Lane lied to Fitts once already, why take a chance on him doing something even more harmful. If its true that his father is anti-UCLA that works very well for us especially with Kylie being very faithful.

Agreed, i've posted this before but I'll say it again. There is no way my son wold be playing for any coach that treated him like that. Doesn't matter who it was, not happening

This is how weird the world of college recruiting is: Hollins's family won't even be polite enough to let the ND coaches in the front door, after spending their dime; and the Fitts family is going back to SC after they have already been as screwed one as one can be before even reporting to campus!

Sunday? Isn't that the start of the quiet period?

And the part that blows my mind is that they let him know just days before reporting. It wasn't like they gave him an advanced notice. They notified him mid week if I am remembering it correctly. You would have to have a real hard USC boner to go crawling back to them after they F'd you like that.

It's called "recruiting". If you wrote this into a fiction novel or a movie script, anyone watching or reading would tell you it's a load of hooey.

What if Fitts is a huge USC fan but doesn't think Kiffin will last? Kind of like Signing up for ND in 2009...

I thought on-campus visits were allowed during the quiet period.

Only for teams who follow the rules.

They're completely following the rules. Even Kiffin isn't stupid enough to allow he entire world know via twitter/facebook/message boards etc that he is allowing a recruit to visit when he isn't allowed to.

I hate USC more than anyone here but even I will admit they are doing nothing wrong here. And if the Fitts family is dumb enough to go to USC after they essentially told him that the other EEs were better/more important to them (while also making Fitts wait 5 months after he did all that work to EE; and oh yeah, they told him 3 days before he was set to enroll), then more power to them.

Couple that with all the crap USC fans have been saying about Fitts, man, I don't know how anyone could go back to that situation. I don't see it happening, but anything is possible...

Think ND has a chance appealing to his obvious faith, or is he all UCLA in your opinion?

I've been thinking he's all UCLA for quite awhile now. I thought USC was out, but this late visit, coupled with info from Rivals that says USC is still alive plus the 24/7 info about the dad, well, it's got me rethinking now. I'd say 75% UCLA, 20% USC (and rising, rrrgggg), and 5% ND (only cause of the faith thing).

He and his family, especially his mom, are super tight, so I don't see him leaving SoCal, unfortunately. He was a lifelong USC fan, which the USC coaches jumped on to make him the odd man out while still appealing to his Trogan fandome by saying that the 5 month wait will be worth it because it's a lifelong decision. They forget to mention the 4-5 years he'll be dealing with the same staff who deemed him expendable in the first place, but who cares right? (of course, that staff won't be there during his time at SC, but oh well.)

If he chooses SC, I can't wait to read the USC boards - they TRASHED the kid for visiting UCLA and ND and for voicing his frustration/hurt on Twitter over what happened with USC, with only a few fans coming to his defense. To most those fans, it was all the NCAA's fault and USC did nothing wrong, and Fitts was either a baby or a traitor or both. God bless'em...

EDIT: I knew there another reason why I thought USC was trending upwards with Fitts - Chris Hawkins predicted he would sign with the Torjans. Obviously he's a homer but he's been pretty money on all his predictions. The only one he got wrong was Redfield after redfield's OV with USC. He said (anonymously but everyone knew who the source was) that Max was 95% Trogan, which got them all hyped over on Rivals. Of course, a day later Max was 50-50 and a few days after that he was 100% ND LOL. Still, on other recruits, he's absolutely nailed it.

His other prediction is either 5 star Matthew Thomas or EV, and I don't think either are going to USC, so I think he's off on this...

Recruits/recruits' parents typically have a good feel for things... but at the same time, we've seen tons of times (Anzalone this year, Joshua Garnett last year are two prime examples) of recruits being wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy off on their buddy's intentions/leanings.

I don't get why he is visiting Utah...they don't even register a percentage in your synopsis.
