Hopefully this answers it. I think the pressing concern with RB's is the fact that they wear and tear more than most if not all positions. If you look at your depth there's a lot of unanswered questions there as someone has posted earlier. I don't think it's a sake of just adding someone to fill the spot, it's a safety measure I think the coaches are using. I think we were all under the same impression that we thought Wood would have a helluva season and we didn't think much of Theo. I think even GAIII showed me during the spring game that we could have a real strength in our running game this season. First game against Navy really showed that, but then when we started playing tougher teams, our belief in Wood and GAIII started to dwindle. You can have 3 or 4 backs that you think are going to all be dynamic, but once they actually get out to the field and play, you may only have 1 solid back out of the 4, so it's basically just a numbers game. The more backs you have, the better likelihood you have 2-3 good backs then just the possibility of having 1-2. My last thought behind continually going after more RB's is we need to find a replacement for Theo. We need that X/Y/Z back that can motion out and catch passes, that can run legit routes. Wood is the equivalent of Bryant, Folston is Theo. We have Wood, we need a Theo, specifically for our style of offense.
