Yes that, and the fact that he DID meet her in Hawaii according to his father. My father would not say that to the press unless I told him that I saw her or he saw her himself.

Tru dat for the bold, but I know that's what those kids are running with (same as /sp/). I also think the gay explanation has potential, but there is absolutely no need for you to be posting it incessantly with practically no evidence.

What I don't understand is why would he lie for publicity (if that's the case)? His grandmother dying gave him enough in the first place. Not saying he should have intentionally used her death as a triumphing story, but that was bound to happen.

I'm sure she said something like I really need my rest, im not in good health at all, I'm not allowed any visitors, etc. you guys keep acting like Lennay was a rookie liar.

My take is this was the perfect storm. Manti is gullible and trusting and this fake Lennay person was a pro at lying. Then the media drooled over this story and Manti deep down kind of embellished his relationship with her because he was slightly embarrassed to say he only met her online and he liked the attention the story was getting. I strongly believe though that Manti was duped

Nope, the opposite. I'm saying he made a few white lies to his father and friends about meeting her in real life to hide the taunting about an online relationship.

I'm saying the glass houses part to InKellyWeTrust that he can't say that if he's never lied.

Also, don't think it will be a movie, but certainly at least 4 different exposes.

If ANYONE can recover from this, it is Manti.

No matter what happens, Manti will be a first round draft pick, will start meeting NFL guys and forming solid (real, lol) relationships, and they will have his back. He will recover.

I hope for this, but I also hope we keep this 2013 class together, as selfish as that is.
